Problems installing ClockWork on Orange San Francisco
I have managed to root my phone using these instructions
http://orangesanfrancisco.co.uk/android/how-to-install-clockworkmod-recovery-on-the-orange-san-francisco-zte-blade/
However I have come unstuck trying to install ClockWork.
I got as far as Page 3 Step 22 and got the wrong Hash code. It says "Delete all previous files you download using ES File Explorer and follow from Step 8 again." However I have no idea which files, where they are or how to delete them.
Can anyone explain in step by step idiot proof language please?

I did think of asking there, but it wasn't the instructions from their site I used as I found them very complicated. Not sure I should ask about another site's instructions on there.0

I would. That does seem to be the most active forum for that phone I've seen.
I think the person that created the site you've been to also frequents that forum. They seem very helpful there ... what have you got to loose
MSE is not really the best place for _technical_ questions ... though I'm sure people will help if they can.0 -

Thanks.
Although the Modaco forums are brilliant and full of information, I am going to use the instructions on https://www.orangesanfrancisco.co.uk as I find them much easier to follow.
I have posted on Modaco, but haven't received a reply in over a week. It seems more geared to techies than newbies even though they have a dedicated newbie forum. Maybe that's to keep us all in one place where we can be ignored.

So...
The file you downloaded doesn't have matching codes meaning that
the file is not correct.
Using the the file explorer look in
/download you are looking for something called clock.img
you need to delete this file0
