  • this is hard to explain but everyone use to say i loved my job more than my family this almost was true, i haven't felt like this since my sister died. Iwas working 45-55hrs a week somedays from 8.00 in the morning till 10.00+ at night, I took 10 out of 24 days holiday last year and worked the rest with out pay. I have worked more than 3 weeks some times with out a day off. I often didn't stop for lunch. and would be on my feet all day. I always did everything I was asked. I loved my job. Then they just decided to get rid of me. I did nothing wrong . But I was told to go like I was thief. when I went to collect my stuff which had all been put in a bin liner I was marched off the premises. I know other people are now doing my job, I cant ever imagine feeling happy again.
I know I am full of self pity and I am sorry

I just wanted to say that I really feel for you, as I am going through something similar.

Don't let it break you. You're within your rights to feel aggrieved and upset. Sadly, we spend most of our waking day at work, so when this is taken away, it can be a huge loss a person's self esteem.

It sounds like they could have handled it so much better than they did. I think this speaks volumes about what type of company they are.

Hopefully in time, you might see that this could be the start of something a lot better than what you were getting there.

Definitely speak to whoever you can regarding the debt-then you can weigh it all up and decide the next step. It will be a gradual process though. Tak it one step at a time. Good luck x
if i had known then what i know now
