Daily at work i speak to people about this, so many people are angry, saying that they've been ripped off. Most of these "free trial"companies operate in the same way, their terms and conditions clearly state that you will receive further goods and that you will be billed monthly. I'm also astounded that people hand over their card details to a company they've never dealt with before without researching it first, Google is a fantastic tool, it takes seconds to type in the retailer name. The companies are not doing anything wrong, if people used a bit more common sense my job would be a lot easier !
Assume everyone on the internet is a shark and you won't go far wrong ! Would you hand over your cash to a stranger ? No, so don't hand over your card details either !!!
Everyone at your workplace has been taken in by these scams? Interesting, Could you tell me where you work I have a bag of magic beans that they might be interested in. :rotfl:
Of course its a scam, these must also be the people that click on the google made me £684 a week ads0 -
