Hi All, Just wanting some Advice.
My Iphone broke a few weeks ago, so was using my old andriod phone hoping it would get me to may and my upgrade but it also died :(. So i was walking past P4u yesterday and thought id stop in and see if they still buy out contracts, They do :D. so took out a new contract for a desire hd. They gave me the money to buy out my old contract, but it doesnt quite cover the whole thing (about £20 short) but i wondered if i phoned up and took my contract down a level then that would make it break even. so what i want to know is if i phone up today and take it down a level how quickly can i cancel it???? any advice would be greatly appreciated.

thanks

Depending on the network. Some knock the vat off if you pay it off, as you're not getting the service. That might make it closer to what you've got ??

Where you have notified us you wish to move to the next lower tariff, unless we advise otherwise, your new tariff will commence at the start of your next billing cycle.

Don't know how much they will charge you if you cancel after notifying them, but before the next billing month starts. Just try and you'll see.

Many networks will not allow you to drop down a package whilst in the minimum term (jumping up is not a problem), so you may have to take the slight loss yourself!
