Well it's deemed a penalty which they don't have the authority to impose , so regardless on whether you contacted them, the advice is still to ignore them.
Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?

Write a letter to the store Manager saying that you are going to sue them for harassemnt under the Equality Act 2010 for having an agent acting on their behalf harass a disabled person.

The supermarket will probably soon back down and order the PPC to cancel the invoice rather than risk going to court.

    And ignore the PPC

Why bother...just ignore everything from the PPC.

tescopaddict ...why don't you just pay the PPC and then you can stop worrying??

Seriously just send them a cheque and your worries will be over.

Look out for that shadow....oops, it's your own!!!!!

Because the only way for companies to act is complaints, and lots of them! Tesco are burying their heads in the sand and as coupon says it's takes but one to sue them for breaches of the equality act.

Complaints to landowners or supermarkets do work sometimes. A prime example is that of UKCPS who were kicked off a car-park in Oldham by Savilles for "aggressive ticketing and harassment of customers."

Hi.My daughter has just recieved one of these joke letters, parking in McDonalds car park for 8 hours. The plonkers couldn,t even be bothered to check on their own website, no evidence whatsoever, nowhere near the car park. The camera is situated very near to asda petrol station so it triggers. One exit road passes by macdonalds & they have another camera in that position. my daughter made a return visit to the petrol station later that day-less busy.now they have combined her first visit with her last exit to produce their "evidence".All this on roads with access to the public. They cannot even get the time right. They have recorded her leaving time at 19:29:06.my daughter has a receipt for petrol at 19:30,so in 54 seconds she has driven from Mcdonalds, queued, filled up obtained a recieipt and then queued to get out.Time warp or what ?.Looking back in earlier posts,I notice that the letter recieved by someone in November 2010 is exactly the same, word for word (faded photo copy).Their "recent ccj,s " are also the same. The do keep on trying don,t they. Can,t decide whether to keep the letters when they arrive or hygienically recyle them in the bathroom.

  • Today I have received a letter entitiled 'Notice of Assignment of Debt' from 'Parking Collection Services'.

It basically says they have bought debt. i.e the parking charge from 26th March!

Is this normal, what should I do now please?

Just the usual chain of events. Keep ignoring.

Technically it's not a "debt" anyway. You didn't borrow any money and no credit agreement has ever been signed. Once again this is a PPC/debt collector trying to fool somebody into paying money they don't owe.
