hi,
I'm planning a trip to Southern France with some friends, and we are looking for a car hire company that doesn't penalise us for being under 25. I have been driving for almost seven years. Any thoughts?

The minimum age for drivers is 21 with Sixt, offices throughout France.0

Some of the Super-U/Hyper-U hire cars and they have 18 age limit+have held a driving license for 3 years.
Can't say about if they penalise younger drivers or not though since I never had the occasion to need a young person to drive... you will probably have to find a hire location and telephone or email them to find out.
You can find store locations and contacts at www.magasins-u.com0
