Hi everyone! Sorry missed this thread at the weekend :o DS had to go to school at 8am  on Saturday for a 5 mile walk round some (not so local) beauty spot! Then it was off to the market and caught up with loads of other odd jobs :T Sunday was carboot in the morning and putting up the greenhouse the rest of the day.... was so tired last night :rotfl:

    Anyway, on todays list is:

    ironing
    check internet banking
    washing
hang it on line (no sun here at all yet but it is promised later on.....)
have turned heating off (OH is at home today with man flu so no doubt it will go back on later :rotfl: )

Then its off to work for me to do the wages as the electric will be off there tomorrow and possibly Wednesday... but I hope not all day as there will be mutiny on the bounty if I can't send the payments to the bank!!

Hope everyone has a great day, sun or no sun :D
  • Morning Everyone,
Well today is the first day of my week of (had to take some holidays before April) so no work now till Sunday!:D
I have enjoyed a nice lie in and caught up on sleep from working all weekend and BF is in the kitchen cooking a full english as I type ( he is off on hols as well). It`s a lovely sunny day up here so gonna have brekkie and a nice hot shower then hopefully get something constructive done.

    Todays hopeful list:
Washing done x2 and out on line to dry.
    Clean up yard and kennel.
    Long walks for pooches.
Go horse riding through the countryside (take friends horse so free and the fresh air and sunshine always makes me feel sooo much better about life.)
    Do some college work later:(
Tidy house as it looks like a bomb site!
Try and get some listings put on Ebay later.

Stitchy- Corset looks stunning, i miss my leather corset (a `friend` borrowed it without asking a couple of years back and trashed it) so if you are gonna start taking orders give me a shout.....

    Packed lunch.
Plenty of tea and coffee at work.
    Trying for a NSD!!
Will keep my eyes peeled for any money on the ground as per usual. So far over the last few days I haven't found any but I live in hope constantly. So far have managed to use some of that to pay down the Santander overdraft (only £2 but it all counts)!!! :)
Keep my eyes and ears open to money making opportunities.

  • Hey all, having a completely miserable day as work is really getting me down :( Gone to Citizens Advice to see how they can help and going to doctors as think depression has returned... lost appetite, feel like crying a lot of the time and like I have a massive weight on my shoulders, tired a lot of the time and sleeping loads :(

Today I'm still trying to have a money saving day by doing the following:-
    -Check online banking
    -Breakfast/Lunch at work
    -Free tea/coffee at work
-Free exercise at lunch/after work (makes me feel better going outside)
-Look for jobs to escape from here!
-Look into SSP for depression (if I qualify/get signed off)

Hope everyone else is having a better day than me!
    October Grocery Challenge - £67.18/£135
    Save up £500 - £0/£500
    NSDs for October - 0/10

Afternoon all - don't know where the day is going today!

Not a very MSE weekend - new football referee kit for DD1 (although this will help her make her own money, so worth it), and a takeaway  I was feeling ropey on Saturday, and had had a really busy day, so OH insisted, and I didn't argue TOO much. First takeaway of the year, so we're not doing badly :)

    My list for the day:
    • checked online banking, and moved some money around
    • checked for and did a couple of surveys
    • made bread
    • washing drying outside
    • lunch on leftovers
    • dinner from stores/menu
    • made up menu and shopping lists for this week
    • signed up for a little work at local uni
    • ran out of butter after a weekend of baking, but am holding out until tomorrow, and using spread instead (quite a sacrifice for me ;) )

I have the washing machine running a hot wash at the moment with soda crystals and vinegar, which will hopefully eliminate the musty smell which it's had recently - gotta love those OS cures for household ills!

Have a good day all :D
2011 wins: 2 day gym membership, film download, NETBOOK!
