Monday 28th March - What small DFW things will you be doing today?!

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free :money:
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.
Gooooood morning everyone - I'm in a bit of a rush but when I saw the thread wasn't up and running I couldn't not do it:rotfl:
Hope you all had a lovely weekend in the sunshine...this week isn't starting on quite such a bright and cheery note, weather-wise....but we can all be bouncy and bright can't we?!
Ok....must get my face on and sort my hair:D
Here's my list for today:
Have a lovely, sparkly Monday!

Good morning everyone, and thanks to pixie for starting us off today. I'm suffering from a slow stat this morning. All this overtime is wearing me out and I think I might just do a standard day today. After all, it's only "time and a quarter" and on my carp salary it's hardly worth getting excited about.
I hardly did anything from my weekend list. The weather was too nice to be spent indoors, so allotment and garden took over.
Today so far:- checked banking - my pension payment hasn't gone today??
- checked for surveys - did one, screened out of one
- made a lunch to take to work
- fed and watered chickens
- boxed up 2x half dozen eggs to sell
- charge mobile at work
- free drinks at work
- phone 2x CC to decrease my credit limit now they're over halfway paid off :T
- read at lunchtime to avoid the shops
- finish corset sample to add to the collection
- meals from stores
- have an NSD - might just scrape in this month!

Good morning, all!
Well I dont know where you are, Pix, but its cloudy and grey rather than bright and sunny here! Maybe it will clear up during the day.
Had a great weekend with my dad - we used to have a very estranged relationship so it was great to get along for entire days! He's just gone on his way to the airport to fly back to america. All good there - we entertained him rather cheaply with lots of walks and museums so all good. He also left his leftover GBP so that should actually be enough to see us through the week.
Anyway, today I will:- walk to work
- lunch from home (jacket spud with chili)
- maybe gym at lunch time
- drinks after work with friend
- have OH certify a copy of my passport for me rather than paying for it
- talk to colleague about best way to bank once in Africa
- dinner from meal plan and stores
- clean house after visit
- TV on iplayer and news online
- charge phone at work
- fill out form for volunteer gig so we can accept a grant :T:T
Thank you all for your support on work drama last week - its still ongoing, but the HR lady emailed over the weekend to say that she hoped things would be resolved by Tuesday. If they dont come back with something acceptable, of course Im going to fight it!
Have a good monday everyone.Mortgage free by 30:eek:: £28,000/£100,000Debt free as of 1 October, 2010
