I can't offer any decent advise but I hope you sort something out.

And this doesn't help you much either . . but I took my test many years ago when I was 17.

Before the test date, I'd already been shown/ driven the three possible test routes and on the day of the test the instructor told me to get in the passenger seat and he drove . . .

Took us to a large local park (no, nothing like that)
Parked up overlooking the lake and we sat and chatted about anything except the test. Then he pulled out a couple of slices of bread and we fed the ducks . .
    I'm not making this up:)
Eventually he gave me the keys and said "c'mon, take us to the test centre, we don't want to be late"

All very calm and relaxed . . . and I passed first time.

Best of luck when you do eventually get there!

Society's Child's experience doesn't sound too unreasonable. If the instructor felt you were ready for the test, his actions ensured you arrived relaxed and ready for the test with an absence of stress.

It seems I need luck to simply get to the test centre :)

Nice story. I wish I could feed the instructor to the ducks :)

I have no problem if I have to retake the test (which I am doing already, but in a different test centre). I realise things can happen and with 3 minors in my last test, I am not too far.
But I am appalled by the instructor's behaviour and by the school not taking any responsibility and that there doesn't seem to be anything I can do about it at the moment. Except writing letters.
    Thanks.

If you want to do something other than letter writing, I think your only other option may be the small claims court to try and get some money back.

Unsure how this might affect your outstanding credits though.

Oh... and post #17 on your other thread makes good sense, doesn't it?

Too late now to move the duplicated thread - there would be one heck of a tangle of answers.

(I wasn't about a great deal yesterday, busy sorting out my upgrade from ff3 to ff4)

But I can't read every post anyway - it says so in my sig ;)

Since the OP's question has been answered in both threads I'm going to close this one.
