Borage really gets the bees interested. Thanks for reminding me, I know I have a packet here somewhere. Personally I've never used it in a dish or drink (supposed to be good for Pimms), but still worth growing all the same, even if it's just for the bees.0

most herbs grow really well from cuttings - don't pay silly money for plants at the garden centre - just ask your neighbor / friend for a sprig or two
basil , coriander etc are probably better from seed - parsley and fennel will readily self seed if you give it a chance) rosemary, sage, lavendar etc best from cuttings - split and divide lovage, tarragon, thyme, comfrey, oregano, angelica etc just lift and transplant roots of mint & self healsaving money by growing my own - much of which gets drunk

I would love to have that option however none of my friends have gardens or grow plants and my neighbours have only shrubs and bedding plants (I have asked).Taking responsibility one penny at a time!0 -

I got a lovely Bee Friendly Selection pack from MoreVeg last week. It consisted of Lemon Bergamot, Alba Borage, Domino Dill and Pot Marjoram, Offer price £1.50 instead of £2. P&P 95p. I am looking forward to adding them to those I collected last year.0

I've ordered the Bee collection, Milder Chili collection and some herbs including Red Perilla(?) Cinnamon Basil and Winter Savory.
