Fair do, I misread it as he can only just see the screen guide because of the ghosting.

Don't know how accurate this is, but apparently you can cure screen burn by leaving the TV showing "snow" (i.e. with no signal) for a few hours.
Might be worth a shot?

Agreed

Im not agreeing with whoever mentioned screenburn though (Its an LCD, and youd have to leave it on for days/weeks on a static screen to affect an LCD)
