Im in derbyshire, got married in belper, the office we went to to book the registrar was bakewell, im in the middle now lol. Gonna call that office tomorrow before i go anywhere see what they say. Gotta go out anyway so an extra bit of travel wont hurt! I'd walk there if i have to, thats how much i want this divorce to go through.
cheating ex left us for another woman, got her pg then told me 3 wk ago he'd made a mistake, regretted leaving everyday and was sooo unhappy! Welcome to my world 18 mnths ago, im happy enough now, have been asked out on a date and am slowly starting again. He made his decisions and chose her, so now hes gotta live with it.
Cant believe im still awake, my minds working overtime about having to move again! Stressing me out, gotta speak to council regarding bidding on a house thats available shortly and if i'll be eligable/ what band they class me as with having been served notice to leave rented property. Plus my daughter was up with a bad dream an hr or so ago and i havent been able to settle since! sorry im rambling now lol xxx will update with how i got on with regards to marriage certificate tomorrow!0 -

Mojisola, if the wedding is at the church the church holds the original register. It will only be sent to central records when full, which may be years . A copy, quarterly return, is submitted to the area registrar, but this doesn't always happen when it should. In my last parish I could do any copies for about the last 40 years!0

Evening all, only just been able to get online as 3 network has been on and off all day grr!
It was a hotel we married at so registrar officiated. The nice lady i spoke to said it wont be a problem and ill have it in my hand to take straight to solicitor when done. Whats the betting the original shows up tomorrow night lol!
As for the house, have spoken to council, i have to fill in change of circumstances form as they still had details of us living with my parents and under band b. The person i spoke to said if i can fill form in and provide all id docs by 5pm tomorrow theyll allow my bid and ill prob stay as band b. My landlord is chasing up the official notice from ketting agents, but has provided me with a written letter from her stating they are serving me with notice to leave so they can sell vacant. Gonna be a long few days!
But the council offices are 5 min walk from solicitors so 2 birds n one stone!
On a brighter note, my dd's dress she chose from next for her birthday arrived today and it is stunning! She looks more beautiful than normal lol! Gonna have job saving it for her birthday now shes seen it!0
