Evening all

I really messed up at work today and badly let a colleague and friend down, so I'm not happy with myself. I'm going to have an early start tomorrow to try and sort it, so DH will have to take DS2 to school.

Tonight wasn't bad. HW done with DS2, story read and DH/DS2 fed. DW has finished, so I'll empty that in a bit and I've finally caught up with laundry, ready for DH's ironing session tomorrow. DS1 was at his nan's and is now gone down the road to sort alterations to his suit. He's off to Hull on Wednesday and still needs to sort out train times, ticket and he's probably got some washing for me, too.

Time to do some work now and I'll start with e-mails, I think. Might need some paracetamols first and I hope that means AF is finally getting on with it. At least my throat is much better.

Will catch up again tomorrow. x

Wipe over oven and hob!

Monday ~ Kitchen and Dining room
ALL DONE

Got lots of washing out & dried, as well as some gardening done. I'm going to leave a list for the kids tomorrow which will hopefully free up some time for me in the afternoon to get some more gardening done before it rains on Weds.

After I posted I realised some of you were still up and flying so I set the timer for 20 minutes and blitzed the kitchen. :j Isn't it amazing how much you can get done?

Since I had that sore throat bug, and it was a doozy, my hearing has been getting worse.

I can't hear high pitched voices or other sounds like birds.
I can't hear really low voices like DS1s.
Some mid-ranges I can hear really well, from the other side of the room.:o

Doc gave me ABs last week, but I'm going back tomorrow for somemore as this 'glue ear' type thing is maybe resistant.
Anyways, I'm feeling proper sorry for myself, so here I am for my pat on the head and a hug.
