You said its never the address well im sorry to say in some instances it can be as it clearly is in the OPs case.
So its nothing to do with the OP only living at that address for 10 months, this has been ruled out has it, you don't even know if the OP has blo0dy been declined.0 -

Living at address 10 months may not have anything to do with it as for all you and I know they may have lived at there previous address 15 years.
However my response is more in relation to "monalysa" post regarding address formatting when making an application and being declined.Im an ex employee RBS GroupHowever Any Opinion Given On MSE Is Strictly My Own0 -
Well the OP might of been accepted we don't know as yet.0

hi, Gemma C25 i also have this kind of address issues since moving into a flat in a court on a street kind of address. i called up experian and the guy on the other end said he would put in different variations of my address on their sytems so that more of my credit accounts would be reflected on my report. he asked me to give it 24hours and it did work, it also improved my credit score somewhat as i was able to get a good limit on a halifax cc. it could be that your credit accounts are not reflecting on your report, which for some people may be good news and for others may not show them to be as credit worthy as the card company may want due to a lack of history caused by the address thingie.
i am not saying this is definitely the issue but its worth calling experian and finding out if adding variations of your address would make a difference.
cheers
I am currently awaiting a response from Experian (I got a statutary £2 report so can only contact them by email or post according to the website!) as it's frustrating really that my credit accounts aren't showing up on my report, and it's the same with Equifax except my Next Directory one does show up with them!0 -
Just to update you all, had quite a surprise on the phone!
Got my partner to call Virgin to check the address formatting. They checked for him and said his address was formatted properly, however they used Experian and it's brought up that he's got no credit at all. The mortgage, 2 credit cards, mobile phone contract, current account etc nothing is showing?! Getting quite annoyed by this now. Equifax did show the mortgage, credit card, mobile phone contract but not his bank account. Going to contact Experian and got this sorted.0
