Lol, that's what i thought when i found my notonthehighstreet necklace. I thought "well, i could buy the bracelet then!"saving up another deposit as we've lost all our equity.

Sapphire - please feel free to look for pretty things for me. Budget is maybe a couple of hundred pounds. I love vintagey stuff, am very partial to sapphires, emeralds and rubies (my colours are burgundy and ivory so rubies or pearls would probably be lovely) and nothing too blingy because it doesn't look good with the dress (I tried on a very blingy tiara and it just looked odd).
Yay!So, rubies or pearls - set in gold or silver? Is your preference for a necklace, earrings, bracelet?
lol at finding something you like for £20! Can we see a piccie?

Luckily, i then found these necklaces and it doesn't matter because i like them more than anything else i've seen http://www.notonthehighstreet.com/lilaccoast/product/freshwater-pearl-necklace-with-puffed-silver-heart and i don't think they're very expensive for wedding necklaces.
Have you already bought this? They are cheaper if you go direct to the maker- lilac coast?. I've bought the freshwater pearl bracelet with two heart initial charms and a lovebird charm they sell at notonthehighstreet.com for £38- was £25 with free p &p direct from Highland Angel... and it's lovely! http://www.notonthehighstreet.com/highlandangel/product/personalised-lovebirds-bracelet
I'm going to be placing an order for my three bridesmaids.
Get the ideas from notonthehighstreet and find it cheaper direct!
Any my tiara, earrings and necklace set came from eBay for £11.51- brand new, with tags, from the Jonsomebodyorother range at Debenhams! Bargain! Guess I was just lucky bidding!

Apologies- Lilac Coast DO only seem to trade through notonthehighstreet! Oh well was just a thought I could maybe save some of you some cash! However, Highland Angel do trade aside from noths!0

This is what I bought and the matching earrings http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/2184003/c_1/1|category_root|Jewellery+and+watches|14416987/c_2/2|14416987|Fashion+jewellery|14417034.htm
but are now half price! I decided to go for cheaper jewelery as it was something that wasn't majorly important to me as I never really wear any anyway, I just wanted something nice and sparkly.
The money I saved on everything I used for things that were more important to me, I bought the tiara that I fell in love with (once I saw the one I wouldn't settle for anything less lol) and we are having our horse and carriage which was something I didn't think we would be able to have.
I think we all have things that have importance to us but maybe not to someone else and I think your idea of an heirloom is a wonderful idea! I think you should go with whatever you want, as you say you've saved money in so many places so why not go ahead and treat yourself![STRIKE]Getting married to[/STRIKE] Married my soul mate on

This one is lovely at £229 but I'm not sure emeralds would go.
