What is Webview? That seems to be what the EMSI software is complaining about. I long ago stopped using EMSI products due to the high-rate of both false positives as well as false negatives.
You have a lot of minor things running like all the HP startups, as well as various 'helper' programs and toolbars. I'll let people more versed in Hijackthis logs sort you out with what you can remove, and you'll likely end up with a more speedy computer.0 -
first off, disable spybot's tea-timer (open spybot, Mode (from the file menu), choose Advanced, Tools, Resident, and untick the tea timer box.
Don't attempt to fix anything in hjt - you're running a 64-bit OS hence all the (file missing) and (no file) entries.
Ad-Aware is junk, uninstall it.
Update mbam and re-run it, post the log back here......Gettin' There, Wherever There is......
I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple0 -
Ad-Aware is junk, uninstall it.
If you are going to uninstall Ad-Aware, a good suggestion is to use Appremover (http://www.appremover.com/) to remove it cleanly.
Personally I wouldn't use Teatimer or SDHelper from Spybot - just the Immunisations, and even sometimes a scan since they've improved the speed.0 -

I think the webview is from one of my survey sites that I earn points from using this. Sorry not very techie. Many thanks for looking at this for me.RussJK0 -

Have managed to disable tea-timer in Spybot. Many thanks for very detailed instructions. They helped a lot
I have uninstalled Ad Aware. Have updated Malwarebytes and am now running a quick scan. I will post results when it has scanned.
Many thanks GunJack.0 -

Personally I wouldn't use Teatimer or SDHelper from Spybot - just the Immunisations, and even sometimes a scan since they've improved the speed.
Sorry RussJK I had tried to uninstall Ad Aware before I read this reply. I have used CCcleaner uninstaller. I have download this programme and am now scanning to see if there is anything left behind from my uninstall. Thanks again for your help0 -
first off, disable spybot's tea-timer (open spybot, Mode (from the file menu), choose Advanced, Tools, Resident, and untick the tea timer box.
Don't attempt to fix anything in hjt - you're running a 64-bit OS hence all the (file missing) and (no file) entries.
Ad-Aware is junk, uninstall it.
Update mbam and re-run it, post the log back here
I did a quick scan in Malwarebytes and this is the results GunJack. Should I have done a full scan or is this ok??
