blacklisted phone
Hello,
I ordered a contract phone on orange from e2save and when i tried to activate it, i got error. After waiting for 12 hours, i tried again and same error. I called orange to find out why it was not activating and they said the handset is blacklisted.
I am trying to contact e2save but they are open mon-fri so i will have to wait till monday to talk to them.
I dont know what to do. Should i inform police as this can be a stolen phone.
Cant believe e2save gives these types of phones.
Please advise me.
many thanks.
Simran.

What did Orange advise you to do? Why did they say it was blacklisted? Dont forget you have the right to return the phone so phone E2save and if you are not happy with what they say just return it.0

I was once sent a new phone with a different numbered SIM card to what it said on the box; I assume it had been a 14 day return and the first number was cancelled. So when I phoned Orange from the phone they said the number I was telling them was wrong. I contacted the dealer and between them and Orange dealer support they sorted it out.
So if you've only told Orange the phone number, not the handset serial number, then this might be the reason.
Either way e2save have some questions to answer.0 -
its not unknown as cpw have done the same thing before - its usually with refurbs though.
it may also be that a similar number has been barred but they made a mistake.
e2save will sort it im sure0 -
thanks all of u. I will contact e2save.0
