    I've been Money Tipped!
A number of people have contributed a DTD voucher to electrical goods in store, recently a tv and a stand i beleive. so should work without anything more major than the normal headaches.

    Regards

Thanks for that will be a good excuse to visit a further Tesco Extra tomorrow night, will do another dtd shop of course xxxx

I had a pleasurable shop today, no hassle what so ever and the girl at the till said that they had a memo sent to them stating what to do and for them to be pleasant when dealing with dtd customers I had to laugh!!!!!!!!

This memo obviously didn't get sent to the store i went to today, i thought to save time i would hand my DTD voucher in at customer services and get them to verify it while i was doing my shopping. I went back to CS after i did my shopping and they said they were still trying to get it verified, the next thing i know i have a security guard stood next to me and two of the store managers then come up to me and tell me that on this occasion they can't take my voucher as the numbers dont match - 24hr clock and an extra no 1 - i had already said to the Cs when i entered the shop that they didn't match and the reason why and suggested they ring head office CS to get it verified. I asked them if they had rung CS and they said no they don't need to as they know what they are doing - really!!!!

I then got into a bit of a discussion with them about people trying to commit fraud !!! i don't know what they were trying to say but i definately wasn't trying to commit any type of fraud after about 10 mins i eventually managed to persuade another store manager to ring CS at head office, when she eventually got through to them it took all of two minutes to get it confirmed that my voucher was legitimate.
All the time i was stood there i was made to feel like a criminal especially when the security guard decided to stand next to me, i have never felt so bleeding awful in all of my life and not so much as a kiss my watsit, so definately won't be going back to that store again!!

I used two DTD vouchers in one shop today, one for me and one for my Mum. Nothing was said, I think this is okay?
    :o

My sister has done this but I'm not brave enough as I don't want to draw any extra attention to myself! The rules say only 1 voucher may be used per household per day so I'd be worried about getting a snotty assistant refusing to take the 2nd voucher, even if it is for another household they might not believe it. Wish I was brave enough but I'm too paranoid to try :/

Strangely, I've just had a "cannot find receipt details" email from tesco for a receipt from last wed. But, I received the confirmation email and spent the voucher last thurs! Could tesco be randomly sending these out to try and put people off? Wondered if they are also not sending some of the emails to try and put people off as well?

Just incase my last post gets lost in the sea that is this thread..
Does any one know what time tesco's staff finish/start their shifts?
I want to do another shop to spend my voucher but don't want to risk being recognised! I went at about 5.30 today.
