When you say you have coupons to spend does that mean you can use a coupon earned from dtd and then put the new one through for dtd again? I thought you had to use coupon for "normal" shop and couldn't claim dtd on shopping you'd used coupon against. Does this make sense?0 -
if the Betty Crocker pancake mixes ARE now 74p, in my eyes this is a better DTD option than before (bear with me).
previously £1.49, £0.25, £2.48 DTD.
Now £0.74, £0.25, £0.98 DTD.
The £20 cap mean that most of us are getting other items and only using pancakes as a filler item so this is easier on the maths, it costs 75p and gets you a quid (close enough anyway).
Thanks Tesco for making my life easier.
I've been analysing my spending since 11th March and how to best represent the results.
I think of it in this way;
Spent real money £332 (about) into the tills at Tesco
DTD value £863 (add to this todays when they arrive and Fridays missing DTD's grrr)
Therefore Asda price £431.50 (1/2 of DTD) cheaper than Tesco which was £1,224 (as per receipts), meaning goods value is £792.50 (from Asda) which cost me the original figure of £332, meaning net profit of £460.
is this right, I think it is.
Factor in the extra vouchers to come then the profit hits the £500 mark.
Of course I too 'made hay' whilst they failed to implement the £100 cap, and now I have to live within the £100 max per month (but am still shopping for myself and mums address as I take her shopping), and have yet to get to £200 in April between us, so the profit will tail off, but still a great result in my eyes in what is a hard time with the price of shopping in general, fuel, pay freeze, higher NIC from this month, pensions being attacked, longer working life, etc etc.
Every Little Helps eh!I didn't do it, nobody saw me do it, you can't prove a thing!
Quidco and Topcashback, £4,569
Shopandscan, £2,840
Tesco Double The Difference, £2,700
Thomson EU261/04 Claim, £1,700
British Airways EU261/04 Claim, EUR12000 -
Please don't be so pickey (sp) about peoples spelling mistakes, puts us not very good spellers of posting.
If you don't have anything nice to say then say nothing at all, or you could help this thread and go find some DD's or price check some of the items on the spread sheet and post them up.
sorry for the rant , just a little sensative about people picking up on someone else's grammar, it doesn't make you any better than us.0 -
