i am taking a freind to tesco, they are a DTD virgin. he is under strict instructions, to do as i say and nothing else. wish me luck. will report back with the results.

I brought 3 instore this morning & it scans as 74p (pancake shakers)

I have just been to Tesco.

After Eights SEL says £3.05 but goes through till only £2. Still good DTD (Asda £1.50, DTD £1 but not free anymore!) It's on offer £2 only on tesco site but SELs in shops could not be updated yet so be careful.

Colgate Sensation Whtng toothpaste 100 ml SEL £2.30 but goes through till only £1.15 (Asda £1.50) so no DTD!

Hi all

Just to let you know the SS has the wrong formula for value (IMO)

With the cells formatted as a percentage, it should be:
=1-(F2/C2)


This then will show you the effective percentage discount you get on the Tesco marked price.

That way when you sort by value you will get a true representation of what is the highest discounted items/items to get you in profit.

not too sure if they will match couple of them but i needed them so why not
