no offence but stop your whinging... its great that as many people as possible can benefit from Tesco's ***k ups... the promotion will end when it ends, no amount of spreadsheets are going to hasten its demise.

ps. thanks to all the folk working so hard on keeping the spreadsheet up to date (magners cider is now £1.99 at T's if someone can update it?)
Why can't you update it yourself?

    Worth doing the math :D:D:D:D:D

I could but we don't like Gold Blend, lol. Thanks anyway.
    If I had known then what I know now . . .

Goodness this thread has gone way off the mark :( Can there be a seperate thread for chat & one for genuine pricechecker finds maybe ?

Again I agree, but i think there is in the form of the thread which is pricecheck deals only.

Is it worth leaving updates until someone has actually had a CONFIRMED back on the new price? I know that sometimes when they change the price it can trigger N/Fs and the new price isn't necessarily confirmed (unless I missed someone confirming it)?

Not trying to be a pain, but can you see where I'm coming from  If not then fair enough, but I have only been updating prices and deals as and when they get confirmed by someone.

I do see your point, but I figured that adding new "finds" to the spreadsheet would help get the item confirmed sooner rather than later (e.g. as people use the sheet rather than trawling through all the posts on here).

    For example....

Joe Bloggs finds that Gromitts are £2 at Tesco and £1 at Asda so makes a post about it.

If it's not updated on the spreadsheet, then within 15 minutes, his post is no longer on the current page of this thread. within the day, it is 6 or 7 pages back and very few actually see it to try it and confirm it.

However by putting it on the sheet, everyone sees it and it has no date of confirmation on there so people know it has yet to be confirmed...

What about if I set a Conditional format so cells without confirmation dates will automatically turn red, highlighting the fact there is no confirmation as yet. Then when you enter a date, it will auto revert to white... would that make it better?

Has anyone ever bothered to appeal anything? I bought some blackcurrent lucozade but I've heard that this flavour doesn't work. It's clearly on Asda's website exactly the same as the other flavours which have been confirmed. Seems a bit stupid that they wont compare on a certain flavour. Didn't know if it was worth contacting them to ask why they wouldn't compare it?

I have bought the blackcurrant lucozade today and will report back tomorrow if it works. (DD doesnt like it so waste of money anyway). I purchased blackcurrant fruit shoots last week and it worked one day and not the next, despite somebody else saying it worked for them the same day? I dont think we can take anything for granted, it can work one day and not the next, work for some and not others. Not a big deal when paying with a voucher as far as I am concerned.
