Re: the latest about Tescos comparing / not comparing, multi buy items.... I thought I noticed something earlier today on the results page, and I have just looked back to an shop result from 10 days ago to confirm what I thought. Just thought i'd report my observations as I don't yet think it's been pointed out.

If you check on the results page, under the image of the receipt, it now says
*This product is part of a multi buy offer
    as well as
N/A: A comparable match cannot be found on the day of purchase.
the older shop only shows the latter.
I only get the * asterisk beside the Tesco items, even though some of the items I have purchaced have been on Asda multibuys.

I have never only taken 1 of a tesco BOGOF, I have managed to find plenty of dtd items without doing this...... I have however taken 1 of items if they are say 1 for £2 or 2 for £3.

I suppose we will have to wait to see how this pans out, but i'm sure its yet another thing we can work round! :D

Just back from Tesco where the till chewed up my receipt  A lady from CS printed me off a new one (on A4, which I know will be a problem) and noticed what I was buying and said that they had an email today saying that the DTD was going to stop being applied to items on offer  Has anyone else heard this?

Where has sirbrainy gone? He was an avid and amusing contributor to this thread but not seen any posts from him for a while..

Apparently he went over march's £100 limit by 20p and the clubcard fraud squad burst in and got him. It was awful, there was abandoned wine and strewn after eights everywhere. :(

Been having a look around 'mysupermarket' and found

Cadbury Dairy Milk Chocolate Fairtrade (400g). £3.34 £2.00.

If I feel brave enough, might add it to my shop tomorrow...not sure how 'safe' it is tho! Has anyone confirmed this one???
