Me and my brother went to shopping today. When my brother paid, the till assistant signed the old and the new receipts as well. When I asked her why she signed the new receipt, she said, I'm not allowed to use the new one to take a new price check. When I complained, she asked the supervisor, she confirmed, she has right.
I would be calling customer services, and asking where this is stated in the t&c. What absolute crap, that means if someone does a family shop, and gets a dtd voucher back for 56p, they cant then check their next shop, what bollots!!

AGREED!!! The one thing I hoped to get out of this promotion when I first saw it, was for the supermarkets to stop doing stupid BOGOF offers. They know most of us can work out the cost per item, so it isnt kidding us, just making us urchase more than we need, and sometimes adding to landfill when it gets wasted.

even worse now theyve started doing bog2f, or b2g2f! the most ridiculous one so far is the mullerlight bog2f, i struggle to get just one pack of these in my fridge, nevermind 3. why dont they just reduce the price to 2 3rds off?

You sure you didn't just get a jobsworth? Some of them seem to think it's coming out of their back pockets!

In my local the majority have still never seen a DTD voucher!
  • but if you bulk it up with tesco offers you will need to doublecheck with asda or you could waste your shop

Sorry - I've just remembered my train of thought.

My point was that if they are going to exclude BOGOFs, then you can bulk up with BOGOFs in your DTD shop to disguise it as usual shopping patterns (thus getting around their ambiguous 'spirit' T&C) because they aren't counting them.

Unless they decide it is convenient to count it when you buy both items in the BOGOF of course.

Same here! They never even look at my receipt, I just shred them when I get home. I have had to tell the SA to scan the barcode and enter the amount.
Please God, help me stop spending!
