I have to say that so many people on MSE have told the cashiers to sign their receipts so the vouchers could not be used again, and quite rightly.

Tempting.... but not in the spirit of MSE as it's fraud
Now thanks to Tommix & Queen Bear, now Lady Westy of Woodpecker :)

For those looking for booze deals, don't forget the Mateus Sparkling Brut Rose - still working. Tesco £7.98, Asda £5.00, and it's really nice!

 CR*PPY CR*PPY MCCR*P CR*P news tho - my sis in law works in Tesco (don't shoot me, lol , she hates it and has been doing DTD too!) - CONFIRMED NEWS is that Tesco is changing the deal again. Along with the terms and conditions. From what I can understand, they will soon be capping vouchers at £5 PER WEEK - yes a measly FIVE pounds - and also introducing new condition whereby the transactions must be done with a fully registered clubcard!!!!!! According to SIL, the new terms will include something about tracking those using more than one £5 a week through Clubcards!!!!!!!!!!!!!  :(

Sad days. Guess it was fab while it lasted. :(:(:(
The people in my life: Betty Crocker, Mr. T and Gordon (of Gordon's gin) :T

oooh man I hope they don't all end up doing this...so i take it making each voucher unique isn't looking like an option :(

were they still bothering since the cap? or were the pics you saw just larger amounts.........here's hoping it's less worth the risk for them now? maybe?

Both. the one without the scissors was a large one, but the one with the differing font was small. I guess the scammers started straight away and have adapted to the cap.

Even with a 20 quid cap they are still printing 20 pound notes with no water marks, no special inks or paper, just a simple printer and some free software. They must think xmas has come early.

I think Tesco must carry some of the blame for this though as the security of the system just wasn't thought out at all was it?

I used my vouchers tonight, but to be honest I'm getting a little bored of it all now. I have enough cereal to last me 2 yrs, got 15 blocks of cheese in the fridge, have enough alcohol to get the foreign legion p*ssed, not to mention air fresheners, pizzas, crisps, yoghurts, baby wipes etc etc. Besides I was preoccupied tonight with the beer glitch at the tesco expresses! :D:D:D
