Hi guys, going in for my first visit 'in a few hours' as it is already morning, lol. Checked an old receipt yesterday which gave me 18p voucher, lol. I have read all through the forum tonight but still have a few questions please. I intend on getting the baking tins apparently £10 each so 2 making £20 , in Asda equivalent 2 for £8 making a DTD of £24 is that right, and if so will I only get £20 back on my pricecheck, oh and also should I buy it on it's own or with other items ( and should these be same price as Asda:question:? Also does that mean if I want to buy anything else that is dearer in Asda I am best buying in another transaction because then it will go well over the £20 further? However I am reading people spending large vouchers of £40 plus , how did they get these or were they before Tesco capped it at £20? Last question , if I have some things on the recipt that are cheaper in Tesco will they add it all up and subtract it off so saying the shop was not so more expensive and so get a lowed DTD? so confused still , can somebody please help , you all seem absolute pros at this , I am slow taking up this offer , normally I am so on the ball with offers.

the baking tins stopped working a couple of days ago,

Try a small shop first and get to grips. Many of us have been doing this for weeks and even we make mistakes.
My advice (to myself!) is to have backup plans all calculated before u go in case things are out of stock. I am so wishing i did that now.

    I don't think i've not made a mistake yet

I was pulled aside by one of my fave SA's tonight. She's a team leader and was showing me an email exchange between the store manager and HO. Seems they are being scammed quite heavily with people doctoring the vouchers! I was shown photos of some of the dodgy ones.... slightly different font on the numbers at the bottom and also the scissors were missing on another one on the 'perforations'.

She said people are now only allowed to use a coupon in that store if I'd bought my original goods there on orders of the manager.

Looks like either further restrictions will come into place or it will get pulled completely soon due to some people not being satisfied with the gift horse Tesco sent us. Human nature rarely surprises me sadly.

I seem to have a mental list of a few reserves ...it goes a bit like this

ah, cr*p they don't have xyz

right, how much is the DTD value - do I swap it for a razor, some vanish, another air freshener, some rim blocks, herbal essences, magnums, more tomatoes or value pasta!

That covers most price brackets pretty well!

yes there are still some big ones around as they are valid for a month and it's also safer for peeps to use them as the new month starts today

yes, you're right it works both ways on the whole shop, not individual prices....that caught me out when I jumped in feet first lol

    here's an example list:

    2 Herbal Essences Shampoo Dazzling Shine 400Ml £6.64 - 7.28 (return)
    2 Herbal Essences S Hello Hydration 400Ml £6.64 - 7.28
    3 Nescafe Gold Blend £9 - £6
    £22.28 - £20.56 (capped at £20)

If you try to mix good earners with the ones that leave something to pay it helps keep your total spend down to still achieve the full £20 dtd voucher back again ;)

I really do wonder what on earth is the need for outright fraudulent scamming. It's pointless! With a really pretty small outlay you could quite quickly build up to have a £20 voucher to use, legitimately! I suppose it's probably people who just want to be able to get whatever they want free rather than bothering to find deals.

    Gits

oooh man I hope they don't all end up doing this...so i take it making each voucher unique isn't looking like an option :(

were they still bothering since the cap? or were the pics you saw just larger amounts.........here's hoping it's less worth the risk for them now? maybe?
