The SA I saw yesterday didn't have a clue either, and the supervisor just looked surpprised when she saw the voucher and said "Ooooooh, this is what it is - I've heard a bit about it, but this is the first one I've seen"

Is there a limit to how many of the same item you can buy in one go? I just bought some pancake mix and should make a 99p profit form it... but what's to stop people buying 20 of them?

Nothing at all. If you want to make life awkward for yourself at your local store, and make Mr T, reconsider the promotion. :(

Looking back, I see this is the same hound who featured in this august organ yesterday as having trodden paint all through your household. I can't think what you've done to upset him.....

Lol (owner of 3 hounds myself)
    Hope is not a strategy.

There's a limit to how many anyone WANTS of them. Even if it's to max out your voucher - it's capped at £20 anyway. Probably money better spent on items you actually want in order to get your £20 voucher! HTH :)
"Buy me, Lady", said the frock, "and I will make you into a BEAUTIFUL & WHOLE & COMPLETE human being".
"Do not be silly", said the Man, "for a frock alone cannot do that".
"True", said the Lady, "I will have the shoes and the bag as well".

thanks :) i've just checked asda's website & they've put it from £3 kg to £4 kg now :( so not a great dtd anymore

Oh well.....better than nothing. Been ages since we had shoulder of lamb, we usually buy a leg because my husband hates fatty meat.
Maybe nice done pot roasted with some rosemary and garlic.

...and this is why I don't own a dog.

Reductio ad absurdam... would this mean that if you bought a product you'd been happily enjoying for years (or just bought for the first time because you fancied a change) and it came up as a good DTD, that you shouldn't buy it again throughout the promotion because you "knew" you were going to get DTD?

In fact as these pages amply demonstrate, nobody "knows" when they go shopping what's going to produce DTD and what's not, all they can do is take a (highly, in some cases) educated guess.

Oh, the philosophical issues and moral dilemmas this ill-thought out promotion raises. Think I need to go and lie down in a darkened room.
