OMG ten pages since lunchtime lol.

    **********ALERT************

Gillette ProGlide now £5 on shelf (ordinary white SEL), I bought all 3 in my local store to see if they would scan at £9.99 - they did!!! So off I trotted to CS, got £29.94 DTD no problem, woo hoo!!!!!!!!

Right, off to catch up now.

I'm currently about 10 pages behind so if this has been covered apologies....In the above scenario can you still submit your receipt and get a DTD voucher as well as the cash? Otherwise the only benefit would be that the DTD was in cash rather than voucher form-I think?

  • I haven't looked at all the threads but went to tesco with the two vouchers and told them. They just scanned one and kept the two of them which was the outcome I wanted.
I would like to thank everyone who contributed to the Ramada/Days Inn BRG thread.

    How lovely. :A:A:A

But you can't use a DTD voucher if you've already returned items on the accompanying receipt...

I see what you mean, but to me Tesco are the ones abusing the promotion if they refuse to honour a DTD when the item in question is sold at Asda!! So I have returned a couple of things that have come back N/F despite being sold at Asda (only where there's nothing else on the receipt obviously!).

I don't see anything wrong with it, I'm not benefiting from it or scamming Tesco as no DTD is involved. I tell CS that I just bought the wrong thing.
I agree with you Tara 100%.

The whole point of this promo is that if Tesco is dearer than Asda on the same item then we are entitled to DTD.

Now all the items in their Grocery section should be valid, so including things like Olay etc. OK so far

The items are on both Tesco's shelf (identified by the barcode on your receipt - well on Tesco's copy, yours is descriptive), and on Asda's website - good so the compare can be made

Oh just a minute it comes back as N/A or N/F.

That is clearly Tesco not trying hard enough as we (the customer who bought the goods) can see it, and if you want us to we can supply you with the link, but NO CORRESPONDENCE WILL BE ENTERED INTO, so stuff you customer, we are Tesco, we are one of the biggest companies in the WORLD, we can even pay hardly any Corporation Tax in the UK as we are based in Zug, and nobody bats an eyelid, so what chance have you got, none.

Well Tesco, this is what can happen,

your staff are so poorly trained that you anger your customers so much that if it weren't for DTD we wouldnt set foot in your store

Your staff don't mark our receipts so duplicate claims can be made either accidentally or on purpose.

We will return items that you say are N/F as you are lying to us, and so why shouldn't we play you at your own game up to the point you enforce your own rules.:money:

Oh I'm ranting now, sorry guys.

Anyway the lamb is FANTASTIC, brown in a pan then 25 minutes at 200c coated in mustard.

Washed down with Hardy's Crest, and I might have an After Eight as they are back at £3.05 again (Tesco's are stupid).
I didn't do it, nobody saw me do it, you can't prove a thing! ;)
