I have to let you all read part of an email I received from Tesco earlier!! I wonder how many of you will agree with what the customer service representative said:-

I'm sorry if you feel uncomfortable using our Price Check vouchers however, may I reassure you that all of our staff undergo a full training programme, before they begin to assist our customers, and the importance of providing excellent service at all times is stressed throughout.

    Ermmmmm..........
I have never been questioned once when using a voucher no supervisior called nothing SA just scanned it & all has been fine so on this occassion, for the store i go to. i agree
    Shop one - A vs T
    Shop two - A vs W
    And then repeat :j:j:j
    & now add - A vs S
What the heck A vs the world :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

The reason I ask for my receipt back is to stop the store from realising how much recycling is going on. ;)

receipt or no receipt Mr T could only guess about how much was being recycled.

Anyway, seems to me all the issues about recycling (when there are any) are caused at store level not upper management or T & Cs would have been changed to deal with this even before imposing a £20 limit.

Dont get me wrong, the staff I have dealt with so far have been fine too, I queried how staff would deal with larger vouchers following the change to terms and conditions as they may not be willing to accept existing higher vouchers and this was the response. I do however think that based on a lot of peoples experience based on staff not knowing what to do with the vouchers etc that the claim made by CS was perhaps a bit misinformed! Lol

  • Hi all,
Reporting in on the days shopping...

Received a voucher (or 2) for yesterdays shops... necsafe gold blend 100g, Turners Merlot, Fairy non-bio gel 667ml all dtd ok

Couldn't resist starting off a 'fresh' £20 dtd spend bought Turners, Lurpak, Fairy, the 100g gold blend was oos so picked up some Thirst pockets multi cloths 2.39 T, 1.50 A so we'll se if that particular horse trots in...

Spent one £20 voucher today on non-dtd - needed some proper shopping - lol! proper bargains nouvelle loo roll 9pk £5.09 BOGOF, T's washing liquid 2 for £1.20, 8 branston beans £2.00 etc

Same old story, SA called supervisor, she was cool, just signed reciept and off she went. SA wanted to keep my receipt but I pointed out that I needed to keep it as it contained the guarantee for the 'electrical product' i'd purchased...getting rid of me £75 voucher LOL! so she gave it back. is signed. and wouldn't dream of trying to reuse it, just wanted my proof of purchase back.

    Happy Days :)
