I did 3 shops today, on the whole uneventful until last shop.

SA called over supervisor who was busy yacking, really took her time. I did try to explain to the SA how to put them through and she said she had been told to ask for a supervisor or manager when she gets one of 'those' vouchers. So supervisor walks over has a look at it and just as she is about to sign the receipt she tells the SA to enter the amount of £22.86.....the SA said 'WHAT, but she only spent £28 on her last shop AND SHEpaid with a coupon last time, I was told by manager not to allow receipts where coupons were used on previous shop'!! She looked about 10 btw..... and I said 'excuse me, that is not in the terms and conditions, SAs and store managers should not be making up rules as they go along' her supervisor scowled at me but told the SA to put it through and that it was fine.

This is the 2nd time I've had dealing with this particular supervisor, not that she has created any problems for me but twice I have kind of drawn attention to myself. So I think I will steer clear of that particular store for a while!

people who are doing several shops a day are you going into different stores or risking going to same store?

The reason I ask for my receipt back is to stop the store from realising how much recycling is going on. ;)

True enough but I reckon Mr T will have a pretty good idea of that just by reading the boards, which I'm 100% sure some staff are tasked with right now.

My son took the school vouchers into his teacher yesterday and when teacher saw how many he had he asked my son..'has your mum been taking part in the Tesco price check promotion?...I have and accumulated 26 bottles of wine and loads of food'. My son laughed and said yes...:rotfl:

good lord, what an amateur! We have wine in the wine rack. Wine stacked in every bedroom. Wine in the garage, wine in the shed, and now wine in the car... I am thinking of hiring Storage Space. :p

I have to let you all read part of an email I received from Tesco earlier!! I wonder how many of you will agree with what the customer service representative said:-

I'm sorry if you feel uncomfortable using our Price Check vouchers however, may I reassure you that all of our staff undergo a full training programme, before they begin to assist our customers, and the importance of providing excellent service at all times is stressed throughout.

    Ermmmmm..........
Please remember to thank fellow MSE'rs
