Tesco/Asda Pricechecker finds here (Thread 2)

Not sure if everyone knows, but there's a "search this thread" facility at the top of the page. Might be worth giving that a go to find answers to questions as the same ones keep coming up (I'm by no means innocent of this!).
For confirmed deals, try the other thread which is exclusively for deals, rather than chat.
Sorry for being thick but where is the other thread?0 -

no clue when it comes to wine or weddings lol
Or go morning and evening, if you both do that every day you will soon stack them up.
Good luck to you.
BTW I would look at at least 1/2 bottle each as well.Love your Mum, you'll never get another one when she's gone.0 -

In rescuing the one i need for an £18.xx voucher found the bottom ripped off. She says never mind its only a receipt......
Hmmm that receipt is worth, sorry was worth £18.xx !!!!
Fed up trying to explain to her about DTD and MSE, she doesnt seem to get it at all.
Rant over. Hope your all having a good day.

:eek::eek::eek: A woman who doesn't get DTD!!!!Back in the days of tesco Health & Beauty coupons & clothing coupons (where we got tons of stuff for free and then some... I'm still using my John Frieda, Nicky Clarke, Plax etc etc years later) some people did get into a bit of bother from Tesco Head office. Some letters were sent out, people had their clubcard points removed etc... not very many people (from here & PTS), but it proved that they could traced.
I'm not trying to scare anyone here, as it is highly unlikely at this stage in the game.... I have used my clubcard & debit card on a few shops so far and am not worried about it, but if this promotion carries on for a while and people take full advantage, Tesco may start to look into peoples accounts further. I try not to use my clubcard (I occasionally use it as I hate to not earn points!) when doing DTD shops and try to use cash when possible.
I always use cash as well, no CC (but I have started using a temp one, which I will register at my address but with a different name - wait for the first points mailing, spend the points and cut up the card). I spent a voucher today, and the SA signed my new receipt, does that mean I won't be able to use it when I get my voucher through from it?SW Journey Re Re-started 25/02/14

Jodie+Matt, congrats on the upcoming wedding, hope all goes perfectly for you xoI went to T Extra this evening, talk about DTD heaven!!! Plenty of everything except Betty Crocker and lamb (but already have 2 in freezer so not too gutted). Got lots of goodies including Vanish x2, Gillette, Herbal Essences, Nutella, toothbrushes, Olay Aqua Physics serum and night cream, Amore yogurts etc. The SA was lovely and had no probs taking several vouchers from me. I've entered my receipt details and am awaiting the results with trepidation as always! :j
To make up for the lamb disappointment, I did really well at the reduced shelf... got lots of packs of steak, lamb chops etc reduced to about 80p each!!!!
Even better... I wombled a receipt in the car park with Vanish Oxi Action 1kg (and nothing else) on it woo hoo!!!!!!!!!!! I checked around to see if anyone was looking for it, but there was nobody - and if I'd left it it would have blown away, so I kept it. Must have been a fellow DTDer as it was paid in cash with no CC! Sorry to whoever lost it btw.
p.s. I forgot to add - I went for the 'extra DTD' items for my smaller vouchers (between £10 and £15) so am hoping to gradually bump them all up to £20!Good idea if you have a mixture of low and high vouchers. I have a few that are £20 on the nose (real DTD was a couple of quid higher for these, grr what a waste).
can recommend this for OH to practise their DTD before being released into a store...

Looking forward to a Tesco trip tomorrow. Haven't been for a couple of days, ended up in Asda today  Only for a few bits though!
Going for those racks of lamb tomorrow, they have loads in our store. Also looking for the Banana Boat lotion for our holiday to Florida in a couple of weeks time, we usually buy our sun creams out there because it's so cheap but not as cheap as DTD
We're off to Florida in Aug, just looked at that banana boat lotion and is a great dtd if my store has it. Has anyone had it confirmed as a dtd?0
