I used my first voucher today for £18. Got told to go to C/S as the cashier said she'd never seen one before, then the deputy manager got called, who wanted to know why it was for so much, and exactly what items were cheaper!! When I told her I couldn't remember, she said she'd let it go 'just this once' (??) then C/S gave me the voucher total back in cash. Surely this can't be right? I know it was only a small store, but no-one really knew what was going on.

You not the first one like this,
They seen me twice in 2 days and told me that I need to give them ASDA RECEIPT not tesco one.:
Thought I....s well then got it through , my misstake been late night so CS were closed for them . No one to ask.

The cashier in Allerton, Liverpool tonight said that this price checker is going to end soon (although she had no clue what to do with my receipt after)! I couldn't even see any advertising for it in store anymore either.

    Is this the end?

I don't know whether to laugh or cry. Why are men so thick?? My OH has already had the dtd explained several times. He went today armed with a list with everything showing asda, tesco and dtd. Told he had to stop when the dtd column reached £20. ( he has already been on 3 shops with me so I thought it was safe to let him out alone.)
We like both the Rosemount and Lindemans wine. So he thought he really should just stock up on them. £75 of wine on one receipt. He was driving home when it suddenly dawned on him what he had done.
PS once I got over the shock of the receipt I couldn't help but laugh. You win some, you lose some

Report him to CS as worst DTD'er might get some bonus:D .
Will learn in time , if time is in our side.
