Hoof not acceptable, should be planned like a military operation with a backup list of alternative DTD opportunities categorised into price brackets ready to substitute for 'no shows'.

Stand up straight now, left right left right..........

Tesco price change day tomorrow, lets hope they put their prices up.

Tesco main price changes happen Tuesday night, not Wednesday however since the promotion has begun there have been ad-hoc price changes occurring!!!! :rotfl:

Well, just back from Tesco and had my first encounter with a narky SA. Put through my shopping and it came to less than my voucher (Lucozade Energy on offer 2 for £5 but no SEL in my store). Anyway, had to think quick and said, that I would run and get a loaf.
GIQ (guy in queue behind me) - Just buy a bottle of wine
Me - I've already got plenty of wine at home thanks :rotfl:
Came back from getting my loaf to hear -
GIQ- yeah, you buy things you know are dearer here than Asda to get a voucher. It's on the internet, some folk are claiming hundreds.
SA- I don't see the point in that, it's stupid! Why not just buy your shopping in Asda, the money you're getting back makes it the same price
    as them.
Me- No, Tesco gives back double the difference.
SA- I still don't see the point.
GIQ- It's the consumer taking back after all this time. I've got heaps of receipts at home, must go and check them.
SA scans voucher, does not sign receipt
Me - you have to sign the receipt
    SA - Why??
Me - so it can't be used again.
SA - but I've got the voucher!!
Me - Yeah but they can be printed off again.
SA - We get no training in this!
GIQ - Who's shopping is this then? (points at my second lot)
SA - Hers!! She's probably got another voucher!
GIQ - Good for you, take them for every penny!
SA then mutters under her breath 'You've got far too much time on your hands to be able to do this!'
    Me - Pardon me?
    SA - doesn't matter!
I then bid them both a cheery goodbye :D

Good on you. Is that right that if they don't take/sign your receipt people can print off another voucher and use again ? That sounds ridiculous ? Surely Tesco must know if a voucher has been used more than
    once ?

There'll be an April thread starting on Friday too! :)
I used my first voucher today for £18. Got told to go to C/S as the cashier said she'd never seen one before, then the deputy manager got called, who wanted to know why it was for so much, and exactly what items were cheaper!! When I told her I couldn't remember, she said she'd let it go 'just this once' (??) then C/S gave me the voucher total back in cash. Surely this can't be right? I know it was only a small store, but no-one really knew what was going on.

LOL, fab! :T But v. rude of the deputy manager. I am bemused by their little Hitler complexes...
