Hi - can I just ask if I have got this right - do Tesco release the new batch of vouchers just once per day? And is it usually in the afternoon? It was about 4.00pm yesterday that mine came through. It seems that they are being issued later and later in the day. If this is the case then I can go and do some housework/errands this morning instead of being glued to the computer F5 refresh button!

So far it's only once a day and you're right, it does seem to be getting later each day!

she then went on to tell me how tescos is cheaper cos her daughter had started to put her tesco shopping into the price checker and half way through putting her shopping in it told her tescos was aready cheaper  flippin liar she looked a little flustered when i told her i had had to wait 24 hours for an email to come back with how much i would have saved at asda :rotfl::rotfl:

To be fair I've found all the assistants (without exception) a pleasure to deal with. Okay they haven't all known what to do - but that is Tesco's fault and not theirs.

As for previous mentions of going to spotty teenage lads. I have noticed 4 distinct groups on the tills.

Students - I'm only here for a stop gap brigade
Middle Aged - I know it all brigade
Middle Aged (2) - I'm just after an extra few quid for the house kitty brigade
Old Aged - Oooh dear, what do I do with this brigade

The Students and Middle Aged (2) are the best to go to. Most of them are struggling themselves and are keen to know more. Don't forget they are on a really low wage anyway.

The Middle Aged and Old Aged are often to much hassle. The Old Aged mainly because they want to do everything right, and usually the Supervisor is called over.

    Just my experience anyway!!

At the moment that seems to be happening, but it hasn't always been like this. It used to be earlier. A lot earlier.

    POTENTIAL DEAL.

Asda are doing 2 for £1.80 on lots of diffrerent bread, tesco are just doing it brand specific.

    So.........

Kingsmill great everyday white loaf medium sliced (800g) is £1.20 in Tesco.

Hovis thick cut white (800g) is £1.15.

    Mr T £2.35 - Mr A - £1.80. DTD of £1.10.

Not free but works out at £1.25 for 2 loaves.

Not seen any other bread deals yet and we need some. Nothing to put all those sausages on...........................

Receiving the vouchers is probably getting later because more people are doing it due to the recent press activity etc. Don't think it's anything to worry about though.

A lot of people have been posting about using coop vouchers in tesco. I have just printed one off for £5 off a £30 spend. Can I definately use this in tesco?

They are quite funny in my tesco saying any coupon is worth 0.001p so has no value. :( I tell them all coupons say this about its cash value, but it can still be exchanged for money off an item bought. As you can tell, it is quite a struggle getting vouchers though my local tesco. Should be fun trying to use a Coop one :rotfl:

I did last week and have bought it again last night so will confirm if it's still working when my voucher comes through. Got six pots now!
