Thanks.
They'd have a job because they haven't got the receipt. But a good idea anyway.Ask me no questions, and I'll tell you no lies0 -

Bought two today. Will report back tomorrow.
For the person that asked about which Olay came back N/F, I've just realised it is the £12.24 Anti-Wrinkle Day Cream stuff, the one that's always been returned as N/F. Duh!10 Ways to Spend All Your Student Loan In A Week0 -
My shop yesterday has been confirmed with DTD of 17.98 I bought
2 x ariel gel at 4.51 each (9.02)
2 x diet coke at two for 6.50
Turner Road Reserve Chardonnay 4.99
2 x elevensees choc chip bars at 2.27 each (4.54)
on a second shop my DTD ws 17.48 and i bought the following (sorry but I let the SA keep my receipt so now I have to go from memory what I bought)
1 x 2 pack chicago town pizzas (pepperoni and meat feast) £1.87 each
4 x muller corners £2.00
Frosties 500g £1.97
Lurpack speadable 500g
Herbel Essences Uplifitng Volume Shampoo 3.32
Robinsons Fruit and Barley Orange 1.49
Aunt Bessies Homestyle chips 1.50
1 x heinz snap pots 1.88
I put my receipt in about 4pm yesterday and hadn't heard anything by 3pm today so I put the details in again and it instantly gave me the result with a voucher to print for both receipts
Did my second two shops today. I've calculated that by the time I've bought all the DTD's that I want, I will have spent around £88 and received £67 in vouchers so feeling quite chuffed and thanks again for all the heads up on this forum :T
Also I had not problem with the voucher, the SA just checked it was valid (date etc) and put it through with no questions at all, jus tlike any other money off coupon.0 -

Ah, but some stores/some SAs don't know the T&Cs. I know for a fact there is one SA in my local store who has never asked to see my receipt (okay, I've only been to her twice, but still). What's to stop me accessing Buyer's receipt, going in and attempting to use it with that particular cashier? If I got asked, I'd just play dumb, whip out my legit voucher and receipt and proceed with the transaction - you know what some people have been doing, I wouldn't put this past them.

Ive been reading this for almost a week now but can anyone help me out and suggest 2 small DTD shops for me to get this evening
I have a husband and 3 children so anything that I wouod use for them would be great
Thanks in advance x
With 3 children I'd go for the Heinz Beans fridge pack. With DTD it works out at 22p for 1kg of beans! The Jamie Oliver sausages are also lovely - either Italian or Cumberland. Grab a couple of packs of those at £2.99 each as they're 2 packs for £4 in Asda. I'm sure other people can suggest more things for you to try!A [STRIKE]B[/STRIKE][STRIKE]C [/STRIKE]D E [STRIKE]F[/STRIKE]G H I J K L M N O P Q R S [STRIKE]T[/STRIKE]U V [STRIKE]W [/STRIKE]X Y Z0 -
have just been to my local tesco metro. had to amend my list quite a bit as I was going round as they don't sell a huge range. handed my voucher and receipt to the SA who said have you got your clubcard? I said no. she said I can't do anything with this if you haven't got your clubcard. I said I haven't got one and didn't use it for this shop showing her the old receipt. she said did you use this receipt to get this voucher? er yes that's why I have given it to you! she scanned it didn't work, she typed the numbers in didn't work. I thought I am not telling you numbers don't match cos she didn't look at the receipt. she asked SA behind her to do it and it worked:D as I was paying the first SA said they are stopping the price check. I said from when? she said now they have taken all the signs down. I said it worked this evening. she said well they have taken the signs down. has noone told them about the change in t&c?saving for ds2's summer international scout camp - £200

It would be great if the OP could add a list of popular asked questions.
Can I use my coupon if my coupon has the time in 12hr format instead of 24hr format?
Yes. Of course. But some of the less intelligent cashiers/supervisors have had problems realising this, even after having it pointed out. Might be an idea to go whilst the Customer Service Desk and Head Office are open.
My receipt has an extra 0 or minus a 0 in the numbers, is this right?
Yes. It appears that after a software update some store receipts will have a random 0 or minus a 0. This is usually on the store number. The cashier should really only be interested in the date and time along with the last 3 sets of numbers. The first set only refers to the stores IDAsk me no questions, and I'll tell you no lies0 -
BTW, has anyone tried DVD's? I have found some on the Asda main groceries website which are more expensive at Tesco Entertainment. Assuming these were available in store at the same prices, anyone know if they'd compare.
i did last week with Aladdin....£15 at Tesco but £8 at Asda so got £14 back!!0
