Just printed off 3 vouchers from Friday's shop and noticed the numbers do not exactly match,

    I.E on receipt 25/03/11 11.19 2345 089 1234 9876 (not actual numbers)

    prints out 25/03/11 11.19 02345 089 234 9876

    anybody else got this ??????

yes, my one that came through today is like that as well.

Considering on the bottom of the voucher it says "For purposes of verification, the details shown at the bottom must match the details on the original receipt or delivery note presented along with this voucher." and obviously, with a digit missing, it doesn't.

Is this a new wheeze thought up by Tesco to prevent us from using them....? By making the voucher not match the receipt exactly, they are effectively making them look like non genuine vouchers
  • Heidseick Dry Monopole champagne (blue top) 75ml £28.99 / £19.00 DTD £19.98. Received my voucher today from yesterday's shop.

I had the same with my receipt. I think everyone will have the same. Will be interesting to see if anyone has any problems later! Hopefully not!

Are you sure about the razor? It was showing as £5.00 at my Tesco Extra store yesterday? I am confused dot com.

I bought one on the 24th the shelf price was £8. but scanned at £9.99 I guess if you are not sure about it when at the checkout before the cashier starts to scan your shopping ask her/him if they can price check this and they will scan it and tell you the price

I used my first ever £20 DTD voucher and it caused no end of problems - they insisted that they keep the receipt and have been told in future they must keep receipts from all the DTD sales so that the customer cannot then return goods.

Looks like T are going to close the return goods bit - I wouldn't return since I buy things I want anyway.

Another store making things up as they go along.

They are NOT allowed to do this. The receipt is yours by law!
