    Hi
I am late to this thread - 2 weeks in fact!
I have gone through most of the posts and think I have an idea of how it works - check first then go buy then put your receipt number in...
Does anyone have know if the champers is still working out cheaper - friends birthday tomorrow and i am at a loss as to what to buy...
Or if the face creams are? I have gone through most of the posts but as I am 2 weeks late its hard to follow 10, 000 threads and keep up :)
    Thanks in advance

I don't know if they are stopping vouchers everywhere but I can confirm that west sussex and surrey may well be doing so, Three Bridges without a doubt.

I have found staff lovely friendly and helpful, maybe because my vouchers haven't been excessively large or perhaps my receipts value were higher than the dtd voucher being used. Either way I think that lady should be thoroughly ashamed of herself, I cant say I am surprised how greedy some people are.

I'm thinking it will be store specific for now. But let's be realistic.....it's a matter of time before Tesco stops it altogether. That woman wont be the only person who has done this, or used a voucher again! She will be the first person to kick up a stink about them stopping it too.....and all the other people just like her!

The big vouchers printed before the new terms and conditions should still be valid up to the expiry date on the voucher... i hope they dont stop them as i have a £59 voucher to use myself
I too have a large voucher saved for friday as it will take me over the £100/month, I haven't bought anything I wouldn't normally buy IF ON OFFER ie normally buy cheap face cream bought olay, normally buy box of Magners but worked out a better deal to get individually. I have only split my shopping once but not returned anything (although would have had my large DTD been capped to £20 but would not use the £20 voucher), it has been hard trying to find the more expensive items rather than the bargains but my supermarket has helped.

Slightly off topic but I still go in Asda and decided to put my last receipt details in their price checker, got 63p voucher on items which were cheaper in Asda!

There has been a load of publicity over the last few days so I imagine Tesco have seen many people shopping this weekend who maybe weren't even aware of DTD before. Their publicity about the changes to the terms might have been the very thing that sent more people in. It will calm down, I would have thought, assuming scheme continues.

People have mentioned needing a Clubcard to use scheme, maybe that will T's best option in end rather than scrapping (P.R nightmare, surely). A verified clubcard (no temp cards) or make you complete some sort of form to join scheme or something. There would still be a few who would find ways round it, but much reduced. Who knows, though. I'm still waiting on price check results from last week.

Used a £20 voucher (from a razor and a bottle of turners) this morning on a £32 non-DTD shop - I needed some real shopping and bought some offers too. Was going to use my other voucher (£16.xx) on a DTD shop, but the huge shop was virtually empty and only a fw cashiers on all in a line, so I didn't want to draw attention to myself. Will go back in this afternoon before school pick up. Should hopefully have another voucher from yesterday too, so will do 2 x dtd shops :) (going in and out so as to visit 2 cashiers)

The voucher I used this morning had several minor number discrepancies, but the SA took it ok - she did check it too, not just take it :)

Bit of confusion here. You are only entitled to £100 of vouchers a month - not to use £100 worth of vouchers a month

    Fair Use
Tesco Operates a Fair use policy on Price Check. As such:
The number of Price Check requests is limited to 10 per calendar month per household and the total amount of Price Check Vouchers that can be claimed is limited to £100 per calendar month per household.
The maximum value of an individual Price Check Voucher is capped at £20.
Only one Price Check Voucher may be redeemed per household per day.

So whether you use them today or Friday - there is little difference.
