Nobody knows yet - I used some yesterday, and there is nothing online. I wonder if this is store/area specific? Possibly one area manager who has spotted what is going on and pulled the plug until things can be tightened up?

I'd be surprised if they just pulled it for legitimate vouchers TBH - surely that would be PR suicide?

See above I used my voucher at 8.00am this morning. No problems. They asked to keep the receipt which I had no problem with.

im pretty shocked to see some of the comments here.. a number of people admitting returning items after getting the vouchers, jesus christ! are you not aware that is basically theft and do you have no morals? money saving is money saving but this has gone WAY past that.. ive only inputted 1 receipt to tescos and i didnt bother checking before i went because i dont want to fill my cupboards with things that i wouldnt have got anyway, if you spend 20p on something which you wouldnt have got before is it really money saving or are you just buying it because you can and its cheaper.. i input my receipt yesterday and that was for a normal grocery shop where i spent £100, didnt bother to check the items because i dont think thats really the point! if something you always buy is in it sure go ahead but to base an entire shopping list on DTD so you can get all your money back and then repeat the cycle is just abusing the system and will stop things like this going ahead... and if its already stopped then everyones missing out because of a few of you going TOO crazy!
Who would say I couldn't make you mine? You were mine since th' beginning of time. Who would say we were far apart? You ever reside in the core of my heart?

Which is exactly what they shouldn't be doing, but I have no problem with. Why not just stamp the receipt and give it back? Refunds on receipts were little or no cash has exchanged hands at the discretion of the store manager - or other vouchers given in return.

There have been some really shocking posts boasting about the type of fraud which would have police involvement if caught. We should all report them asap.
Also its probably best just to do this rather than to discuss it or quote it, as this will make it easier for it to be removed.
But I also think that as well as these ones being removed, the poster should be banned.

i have to wait until friday to use my bigger one as otherwise i will go over the £100 a month
The big vouchers printed before the new terms and conditions should still be valid up to the expiry date on the voucher... i hope they dont stop them as i have a £59 voucher to use myself

I agree. Personally I don't have an issue with those going over the limit - that really is upto Tesco to police themselves. Re-using receipts and vouchers, and returning goods is well out of order, and those who do it, should feel ashamed of themselves.

OMG so it is true! I don't know how people have the nerve. Don't people know when they are onto a good thing?

This is exactly the kind of behaviour I was talking about last night but I got slated for saying something!

Well there you go folks, this is why the DTD will stop!

Obviously some of you were greedier than others and it's you greedier people who will miss this the most!

Ugh it makes me sick to be honest!

it was only last thursady when the poo hit the fan and people panicked and took their car loads of stuff back to tesco, because they thought they had only got £20 for it. people are forgetting the vaule of money,£20 is alot of money.

oh well if this promotion is pulled its because a few people were greedy,(and tesco were dearer!!)
life is like a loo roll. the nearer the end you get, the faster it goes.

Agree with you on this. I think I could have got them to sign it if I pushed them but the woman at the checkout was so nice and as it was only a receipt for 10 bottles of Magners and 2 boxes of Frosties it didn't bother me. It's a student town I'm in so I presume one or two of them might have been re-using the receipts fraudulently. Like I say I'm happy to give and take. Stocked up on Magners and my wife has a few £20 vouchers to spend on family shop.

YummyScrummyMummy, I think there is a big difference between people legitimately making the best of the policy i.e. splitting their shops, checking deals etc, and people acting fraudulently/returning trolleys full of shopping.
