just had an e-mail from Port Salut about a £2 off J P Chenet wine coupon that is on promotional packs of their cheese
this is currently on a 3 for £12 deal at Tesco (dearer in Asda so no DTD)0 -
:rotfl: - I said something similar to her - it's not the first time I've ended up training T's SA's
- I'm a dab hand at pointing out the competitor coupon button as well ....
Hi Jeferey
can you please tell me what number the competitor coupon button is. I had trouble using my co-op coupon and both the sa and supervisor said there is no such thing. They did take my coupon though in the end.
ta in advance

hi, i rang customer service before i saw your post and they confirmed exactly what you have said also take asda sainsburys, morrisons, waitrose,m&s aldi, boots as long as they are valid etc, i gave them a ring as i wasen't sure after reading op's post
It seems a few of us are getting emails saying the following stores conditional spends are being accepted
ASDA, Sainsbury, Morrisons, Waitrose, Aldi, Marks & Spencers, Co-op and Boots.
I got mine today, after I complained that my store wouldn't accept the Co-op one this week!.
I don't have a Waitrose anywhere near me, but if I get a voucher, I will take it into my T's, along with the email0 -

Hi CW. Yeah, they changed all the tills a while back and added a competitor coupon button. When they press it, it comes up with a list (like the names above) and they select the one you have, type in the amount and hey presto money off your shopping, doesn't even have to scan. Blooming T's never train their SA's properly, shouldn't be up to us.If at first you don't succeed, try, try, try - oh bu99er that just cheat0 -
Girl, you are joking! I asked the barbarian CS woman and she said no to Boots, Aldi and Co-op. Definitely sending an email now. Unhappy Mimi!
Well Im not sure which Boots coupons they are talking about, myself I have had the Boots £5 off till spits which you have to use on expensive Olay etc facial items and also the £5 off No 7 but I cant imagine T would take these. I have only ever had Co-op conditional spends so I am not really much help here.2008£3002009£13002010£15002011£41952012£21942013£1494

I've used Co-op spend and saves with no problem over the past few weeks, until tonight. I tried telling the sa it was on the list on the competitor spend button, but she didn't even look for it - just said that it didn't scan and wasn't allowed.
I got my money eventually at CS, but its a pain in the neck having to waste time when actually training sa's properly [and them being willing to look at the darn till when you tell them there is a button for it!] would help. Mind you, she did look like she had been sucking lemons all day - trout in training! :eek:So your answer don’t be scared of failure
For the only failure is never to try

Same here, I'm wondering if they are 'playing' with us. Perhaps they have an 'I Wound Up The Most Customers Today' award - 1st Prize, a competitors conditional spend voucher (which we won't accept of course).0 -
Just realised the time, so I'm off to bed before I change into a pumpkin.
Nite nite everyone (that's still up). :A
