they are still b*****ds, nothing can compensate the humiliation of what she went thru, but a nice bunch of flowers, cup of tea and cake(on the house) and a gift card, could soften the blow a little. if I was you I would fone the store a quietly point this out to them and also tell them she has had a heart attack and to treat her with the respect she deserves.!!!!!! Oh I'm soooooooooooo cross., and she not my mum,so you must feel 10 time worse.:(

    Me too... Livid...

also agree with BLUWKD about being calm and not descending to their level. Also, lower your voice when speaking and slow it down a bit...it's difficult for the other person to maintain their rage...

and also as an aside, "would you like to repeat that in front of my solicitor?" People on CS have no idea who or what people are, when they are shouting abuse...it would do them well to remember that.

Even if a person is a "fraudster" then it does not mean CS have to behave in such a way. There has to be more than waving a piece of paper about, to proving it!

Well, Mum just got back from Tesco, the manager could not have been more apologetic. Gave her a £10 gift card (mum ripped up her £5dtd voucher) big bunch of flowers and a hug. Apparently her voucher hadn't got scissors on, she didn't know why. Mum suggested that staff get better training, she understands why the voucher wasn't accepted but not the way it was handled. The offending supervisor was off shift but I wouldn't fancy been in her shoes tomorrow.

I've read out your comments and best wishes to her and she cried again.

She says to thank you all and how nice it is that you care.

Thanks again from both of us for all your support.

I had enquired on their Facebook where my cheques were and they have eventually replied 6 days later!!!! stating that they were trying to sort out something that was outside the T&C and that they would contact people directly...... I think the word cold feet comes to mind I have 4 claims outstanding and another 5 which I haven't sent all of them total £70 all were won on seperate days and with legit e mails so I can't see where the problem is...... other than their Competition is all a big con!!!!!

For those of you who have printed the £5 off £30 co-op coupon on the before I shop link, it is worth actually signing up to become a co-op member. I did and today I got my membership card, 4 x £5 off £30 coupons valid to 26/06/11 and a 50p off Benn & Jerry's ice cream coupon. You also get dividends paid out twice a year depending on how much you spend.
Think I may be getting membership for other family members too :rotfl:;):rotfl:

ps big hugs to your mum Swood, disgraceful and unacceptable behaviour by Tescos, hope head office come down like a ton of bricks on this jumped up cow
