Went to docs last night as still feeling proper poorly - says i have a virus but nothing they can give me for it.
Payday today and got more than i expected (as its still a bit confusing as don't get my actual full months payment till 2 weeks), so need your guys help
THe hamper i got last weekend i'm going to use and fill with baby things as my best friend is expecting her first child end of Aug, she's had 2 miscarriages and has medical conditions that mean every day she carries is a miracle and chance it could also be stillborn so want to make up a hamper of practical baby things that she'll use every day like baby wipes - any ideas on what i can buy as i don't do babies? Thanks x

Morning all, thankyou for the kind wishes its very sweet of you all. My mum went to the hosptial last night so just waiting to hear what's happening. *hugs* to all that need them.
Dawnie what a lovely thought, re the wipes you might still be able to get dtd on the green pack of huggies wipes and i know A did a pack of wipes and nappeis when you signed up to their baby club. Maybe baby products might be handy as she might get a lot of baby clothes or maybe clothes for when the little one is a bit older? Not sure if you womble apg but you could get this with that.Boots also do a babay selection if you sign yp to their parenting club.
All the best for your friend xx0 -

Hi Dawnie this post had me moved to tears I suffered a miscarriage abt 16 yrs ago & still find it very emotianal when I hear of others going through similar I was in the fortunate position that I already had two sons & went on to have another a couple of years later. It gives you a sense of how fragile life is. So I really pray things work out for your friend & she gets to enjoy motherhood that so many take for granted.
I always found muslin squares brill good cover up if breast feeding great burper prop and handy to wipe up suddden possetts always had these at hand.
I agree with special pamper treats for mother, I remember been giving some babedas bath stuff as gift I was so grateful & needed as most people focus on gift for baby and you are so tired & don't have time for focus on getting things for yourself.
I definatly second the chocolate0 -

Fingers crossed for Dawnie's BF, and get well soon.
Thanks TS.
Sounds like typical T's Mad - "Don't let the bu99ers get you down" - as if.
Hope your bro' gets well soon PM - my OH seems to have turned the corner.
I don't bother buying stamps, I send them all through work and pay them as franked mail is cheaper (25p at mo for 2nd class).
Good luck with the puppies Gill and thanks.
Happy dtd'ing everyone - I'm not going to T's again till Friday (it's April then you know)
If at first you don't succeed, try, try, try - oh bu99er that just cheat0 -
Morning JEFERY. Morning everyone else.
It's wet and wild in Yorkshire again! Boohoo.
Don't forget the stamps, and look at the sticker in the window on the doors, they ALWAYS have 5% off stamps advertised there. If the trout is being awkward, ask to see the manager or someone.
Happy DTD and COUPONing today peeps.0 -
