Each to their own , no probs with that, but I just think if it ran for 6 months at £100 per month then that would be £600 per person...but if it is pulled then a few people will have got the £600 and the rest about £100...so why spoil it? Playing by the rules, everyone wins....I love Tesco, always have, rarely have probs there , I reckon re prices it's swings and roundabouts...rarely shop in other stores...have had 1 completely free holiday to Malta with my points and £800 off anotherto Egypt , had free ferry crossings twice , free annual garden pass tickets , year sub to Top Gear , doubled up for glasses and perfume.....no complaints from me at all....

  • Well done to all new winners and that hamper looks lovely Dawnie. :)

I hope you all get your dtd vouchers ok. I've not done one for a while and doubt I'll do any more now. I've not had much scope to do alot with it to be honest, due to recent events, but have used my last dtd voucher on groceries I needed and happy with what I got.

I've not read posts on the other thread, but sadly there are always the greedy ones that spoil things for all, so I didn't think this would last long.

Cheque from Velvet...at last...checked PO tracker and they got it 7/3...so 3 weeks, 21 days, not working days, think it must be whichever person gets to handle them at the other end, if they are on a go slow or not.......just waiting for a few £10 ones now

Lady at my store was taking away all the leaflets and banners and posters that was advertising PRICE CHECK. So I don't know if they are stopping it in the near future. Fill your boots whilst you can. I don't really see this offer running for much longer.

Re: people abusing the system, no sympathy for Tesco. It's a huge company and they should have done all the research first before bringing out a huge promotion like this. People abused the clubcard scheme like crazy when they did the 500 extra points per cd purchase so they should have known the same would have happened with this.

I agree bullshot I love the tesco clubcard scheme & done really well as been a collecter even before the rewards programme started using it to save towards christmas then when they brought rewards at 4 x we saved them mainly for holidays had numerous disneyland paris with cresta, port aventura 2 wks half board, numerous majorica holidays, haven holidays Merlin annual passes etc etc this year we are going 3 wks florida using airmiles doubled up curtesy of clubcard last year (although do have to sort out acc car hire etc on top) recently been using for meals out.

I shop mainly at Tesco or sainsburys as DS has staff discount but try to compare prices & shop where best value between the 2. Not keen on necter scheme & these just get used for christmas shop normally works out abt £100 over the year so find Tesco much more rewarding. So with DTD £100 a month would be an added bonus & will be sad to see this ended by the greed of a few selfish people I gave up reading the DTD thread several days back as didn't like the way it was going & horrified at some posts after reading your post earlier clicked on the last page this morning went back a couple of pages was even more shocked at how it has went and cldn't read anymore U cannot blame Tesco for now pulling this altogether. Although they are not blamless in this fiasco and have shown much incompetence for rushing this through to compete with Asda without much thought to run it properly.
