Evening Everyone!
No shopping at all for me today .
Spent the morning watching the wedding. Me and DD2 even waved a flag at the TV!Then a quick dash to BIL's in time to see the Balcony Kiss and have a Royal Wedding BBQ with garden all kitted out with Union Jack bunting.
It made a really nice change from thinking about DTDing!0 -

This is exactly the attitude that hacked me off before.
You "presume" that anyone new to the thread, could/would abuse the voucher coupon system
Why?
Why do you presume that this would happen?
I have no wish to try to double print. Won't be photocopying vouchers.
Why is this thread so cliquey that anyone new is ousted, and some of you like to sit on your high horse and look down on anyone new?
Isn't the whole point of MSE that knowledge is collectively shared, to help everyone?
I can quite happily sit in the background of this thread, lurk, take any info quite happily, or I can participate.
The current feeling of sub zero temperatures unjustly wafting my way, makes me very much feel like I wish to just sit and glean, with no input.
Now what would you rather? The mind is like a parachute. It doesn't work unless it's open0 -

sorry to sound thick but i'm not that techy
how does the proxy servers work? will using it enable me to print certain vouchers again or is it more of a security thing
thanks
Hi myrtle
this one does this:
is a web-based anonymous proxy service which allows anyone to surf the Web privately and securely. Unlike other proxies, there is no software to install or complicated instructions to follow. Just enter a URL (website address) in the form above. Through Proxify, you can use websites but they cannot uniquely identify or track you. Proxify hides your IP address and our encrypted connection prevents monitoring of your network traffic. Once using Proxify, you can surf normally and forget that it is there, protecting you.
so should allow you to print more than one voucher.0 -

thought this had stopped as no longer visable through site
although i notice its now only 5 claims per household, thought it was 10 last year
yes, sorry had to post and run.
They have put restrictions on it, probably because we took advantage when mr S had his vouchers and offers last year, where we were buying nappies, and floor cleaner and fairy and aeriel...etc dirt cheap.
It was 10 last year, they have cut down this year.0 -
Have just noticed this on the "Difference" thread,
http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/tesco-price-comparison/Butter_Margarine_And_Spreads/Country_Life_English_Butter_250g.html
Buy the butter at T for £1.30 use a 30p coupon, making it £1 and as it is 50p at Asda when you submit your bill into price check you will get 80p back thus making the butter 20p:T:T:T
This is a prime example of what we should be concentrating on, that and finding more coupons to improve our savings now that DTD has gone2008£3002009£13002010£15002011£41952012£21942013£1494

Good Morning Everyone :hello: 12.05am
I know it doesn't really count, but I just had to do it anyway
Going to bed now - nite, nite0 -
Hi everyone....:)
Hope all had a great day today....I too was busy in watching the wedding today. Had a flying visit earlier and saw many newbies popping over here.
First of all I would like to welcome all newbies:j ........All my friends have already explained about this thread. We are a virtual family who not only discuss the coupons, bargains but also share the joys and sorrows of each other as part of our daily chat.:A
Initially one may sound harsh, if we explain the "rules" of couponing but there is no intention of hurting anyone, behind this. It is just the strong urge, of NOT spoiling the system in anyway for short term gains.:o
Many of us have seen the posts on DTD thread about "reusing" the DTD voucher if it is not signed:eek::eek::eek: and that is "NO" "NO" for any coupons.
Also sometimes newbies might think (Nothing aimed at you midwinter) of photocopying it, so with that fear in mind, my friends might have repeated it, but I can reassure you that, there was no intention to harm anyone personally.
midwinter, if you still feel it that way, you could be the lurker for a while and see the friendliness of the thread and then join again if you wish to. Please don't mis-understand in anyway, rather you will feel more comfortable here than any other thread;)
Byatt, being a newbie has already explained you how she has become a friend on here, just by joining the daily chat.:A
So finally I would like to say "Be with us" and soon you will realise that even the "premium" brands could be free............;)
HTH
Night night all....:)0
