They come and they go, like loves in our lives,

mag, you are wasted here - you should be writing for Mills and Boon with poignant similes like that.
"If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools"

thanks terryw, i hope thats a compliment. lol. Actually its been suggested many times I should consider writing; I didn't even get O level English however. lol.

I do love words though, In my working life I've been personal secretary to two very wordy men - I guess I've learned from them and am thankful for that.

I like to paint a picture with what I write and sometimes my fingers get carried away, work quicker than my brain, see.

I do have ideas for writing novels from time to time (I could base a few characters on some of you on here) there is one special thing, close to my heart, that I hope one day to turn into a book. Its a sad subject for many (no more than me) but I believe in time I could make a difference - learning to live around the grief following the loss of a child - I hope one day to put those words down in print so that I can maybe help others and ultimately myself. I will know when the time is right.

    thanks x
Love, through the trees, past the sky, beyond the northern lights; and I won't let go. May your soul and spirt fly sweetheart x

oh my goodness that is soooo sad and sooooo lovely, I'm sending you a massive hug.:)
Live for today, for tomorrow is promised to no-one.

never complain about growing old,far too many people have been denied that privilege.

  • Jude - you can sometimes print 2. After you've printed the first you will be asked if it printed ok. Yes or no. Always tick no and it may take you to the print coupon page again. Result. On the some of the newer style print activators you need to press the back button and it will print again. Advice as to how many each coupon will print and how to achieve a second print accompanies each link within the OP on here.

Sometimes too, you will be offered a coupon in the post if you do not have a printer. Often by clicking on that option and then going on to print your 2 you get one extra in the post as well.

Im lucky in that my husband is quite techy and often sorts out friends and families computers, often having to format their system etc. That too, will ensure that you can print another two. I am lucky enough to know several people who are not of the same coupon frame of mind as me and who don't mind that I print off theirs.

There are many many legitimate ways of maximising your coupon pile - but photocopying is not one of them and it is a definate no-no on this thread.

I am proud to be part of this thread, we're all friendly and helpful and quick to share so please do join in - you may have beginners luck and find us all a new coupon we can use.:D

there have been many "freebies" with coupon/offer combining - all done legitimately, they end, we wait, and another comes along, sometimes 3 (like buses) - patience is a money saving virtue. Most recently, off the top of my head, we have all benefited on here from free fairy fabric softener (this coupon has been around a while and has from time to time coincided with a supermarket having it for £1 and therefore free with coupon), free l'oreal hair colour, quantumatic starter kits, philadelphia cheese, nappies, go-cat biscuits, dove deodorant, airwick candles, milky bar buttons, milka chocolate, toblerone (I see a chocolate theme here). They come and they go, like loves in our lives, but the best keeper of all is our combined love of getting a legitimate step ahead of the supermarket (especially Tesco, for some reason they seem to irritate us the most, probably all the embroidered claims they make unlike the others whose claims they are the best at certain things sometimes have a smidge of truth in them)

Thank you , I have learned a lot from your reply to me. I have just been watching the wedding so sorry I didnt reply before.
  • I have found a coupon but I presume you all know about it as it finishes on sunday , it is £2 off inside the Finish Lemon 56s dishwasher tablets.

Well the finish one would work with the tablets on offer in T, and you'd get a small td too. You may find an SA who would be happy to let the £2 finish slip through with a starter kit - there are 3 opportunities to get 2 x £5 coupons for free starter kits on any one computer. Depends on what the attitutes of your local stores are like.

    So, six free starter kits!

Best way to maximise these kind of vouchers is to look out for conditional spend vouchers (sometimes come out as "till spits" in Tesco, Co-op and Sainsburys and othertimes in literature with your clubcard/nectar card mailings) - it is Tesco's policy to take these (store depending, you would need to clarify in your local what their attitutde towards these are or arm yourself with an email from Head Office clarifying their acceptance and produce this if challenged).

Another good way to boost your couponing power is to get on as many newletter with various companies as you can, eg: Birds Eye, kenco, Pampers - there is a good list of these that following on from OP on here. These periodically send out printables or physical coupons in the post. Also, I have previously found letters/emails to companies in either complaint or praise often result in some vouchers.

See - up there for thinking, down there for dancing (cue - Mad! grapevining across his living room).

Have you considered wombling? Gets a bit hot and sweaty inside the costume on a hot day but hey... no pain no gain! Seriously, no furry suit necessary just opportunity and a thick skin. Enter the details in at Asda price guarantee or Tesco price guarantee and you may get a few pounds extra in a voucher that way. Tesco were accepting Asda guarantee vouchers - but given yesterday's news I don't know if this still true. I will have to try one out. Haven't been out for a few days.

Thanks for the welcome one and all.

Good to see the hint that some vouchers can possibly be printed twice, will look for this.

I think I will take my 2 finish coupons to asda as they are £6.00 there for 56 tablets so that will be fantastic. Thanks for the quantum links I will certainly look into those.

Really enjoyed watching the wedding - hope they are very happy and have a great future together - tinged with a little sadness i think as Diana would have been so so proud and to see the old trollop (Camilla) there just didn't seem right. Did anyone see the loose horse just after the carriage left westminster - very scary.
Just waiting for the balcony appearance then off out to do couple mystery shops and pick up a fantastic double bed off freecycle - that's if i can get out my village as they having a street party but haven't bothered to let anyone know if they're closing the road!

Guess this has been a bad weeek for Blue with the hassle with Paypal/ebay and dtd stopping whilst I'm away:(

What??????? DTD has stopped and i've come out of MSE coupon thread retirement for it:mad:

Lol - i told my mum two weeks ago it will be gone by the end of the month. Even the limits were unsustainable. The first thing i said when i saw the advert was "if you find things half price as Asda - you end uo getting them free from Tesco". So why did no-one at Tesco spot it? Clowns.

So back into coupon retirement for me. Byeeee!!!!

Ha ha - actually - while i'm here - as anyone heared of vouchers4me coupons. i'm told they work in any supermarket - but i can't even find a mention of them on Google. Cheers!!!
