    Oh dearie me...

I did my little bimble over to to the now revised dtd thread - and it would seem that some over-zealous peeps (not clever little moomins as I naively thought they would be) appear to be advocating the "photocopying" of couponnet style printables especially the current ssm fairy fabric softener ones and suggesting a military style rush into Tesco to clear the shelves of this item like locusts using the printable (or photocopyable ) ssm coupon and thus still achieving a refund of the difference. Oh god, here we go again.

This thread will now be savaged I fear, full of lurkers and non-contributors, brazenly using coupon finds for their own selfishness and over/mis use.

Ain't this what happened on the run up to black friday when ebay was swamped by greedy sellers selling piles of photocopy (reprinted) £6 airwick vouchers - do you remember? I bl**dy do! and look what happened.

Im very sad  and mad  at what Ive been reading on the tesco refund thread.

Im all for coupon/offer/promotion combinations - I love em in fact but I cannot be involved in the advocating of copying to ones hearts content.

I do hope those over there who are taking advantage of the coupons lovingly nurtured over here have been thanking Idlesaver and coupon finders. However, knowing how selfish a lot of money savers are I doubt it. Im just hoping that unlike dtd which offered quite, lets face it, hugely beneficial returns, the amount of money gained from coupon combining will be just to much of a faff for some of the die-hards, take-it-to-the-max kind of people and it will fizzle out very quickly. Otherwise I can just see all major supermarkets eventually refusing to take internet coupons. It would seem there are a few over there who are also now planning to see if they can hammer both Asda and Tesco on the basic price guarantee. How long them do we give it before Asda and Tesco pull it? 6 weeks? my vote is for 4.

These forums are great, and I wouldn't have the knowledge and comaradry (sp? too cross to check it out, lol) if it weren't for them but it also flushes out the weasels and that ain't good!

    Sad, sad, sad.
Love, through the trees, past the sky, beyond the northern lights; and I won't let go. May your soul and spirt fly sweetheart x

Morning all, like Bullshot I'm a republican and avoiding the tv...

still a bit dizzy today...and chesty again (wondering if my damp, mouldy cottage is the problem:()...will try and see dr soon and ask.

I noticed the comment about photocopying vouchers but wasn't "withit" enough last night to comment; woke up in the middle of the night and thought, I MUST tell them NOT to do it. See that others have got in before me, so well done.

Anyway, now dtd is over (mixture of pain and relief), I am going to put my effort into finding coupons, at least one coupon.

Welcome to new posters; I was new not so long ago. :)

please enjoy this thread, but please please do not abuse the coupons,:( do not photo copy and spoil the long term benefits for yourselves and most of all for US, we stick to the rules and save money, its taken some of us a long time to "train" our supermarket in the taking of coupons, so lets all enjoy the savings of the long term.:), thanks for reading my "rant":rotfl::rotfl:
