    Hey Bullshot

Oh went to TV Mr T last night and was told that they are checking that if you use a DTD voucher they will be checking your shopping to make sure non of the new items will be elegible for DTD and that you spend well over the voucher amount, or the voucher will be refused:eek:
I gathered as much from the way she checked my voucher, looking at the receipt and then looking at my shopping trying to look nonchalant... but I was doing a 'proper ' shop and using a DTD,...not 're-cycling' which I think is the term used on the Pricechek thread...total of new shop was £44.74 down to £39.33 after offers and I paid £12.17 but would have been £7.17 if they had taken the Co-op moc I will do a DTD shop when I collect my new glasses tomorrow and then use that voucher for a proper shop at the weekend....been using my M&S card as not in need of points any longer , was hoping that would throw up a few till spits but it hasn't...just going to Asda to get a new pedal bin...exactly same as the one in T's but £6 cheaper....wondered if it might be a DTD or a NA, but not going to risk it.... my T's haven't got any Finish starter kits so will get a couople of those from Asda whilst I'm there....I'm not really an Asda fan but after todays performance I'm def not going back to my local T's for a while, will try one of the other 3 that are almost as close....as nice bloke on phone told me I can use the gift card at any T's.....:j

The DTD rules seem to change daily. Last week, I was told that I could use my £20 DTD voucher but I would have to pay for my full shopping first, i.e. £22.29 in cash. Then the SA would swipe my voucher and give me £20 cash in hand at the end. Very strange. Was tempted to take everything back to CS and get a refund but decided not to. The rule then changed again to swiping voucher and paying just the difference. All in the same store.

Different store, I was told that I might not be able to use my voucher because I had purchased 3 x Pot Noodles and 2 x Flash something or the other amongst numerous other items. Busybody SA said I am going to have to check it with Team Leader and actually left the cash desk to go and ask him. Team Leader came back with the SA and gave him a thorough bollocking and apologised to me for the inconvenience. To be honest, I thought I was gonna get my bum spanked because it did look like I had purchased numerous of the same items to get DTD, but nothing happened in the end.

Another store, they don't even ask for the receipt. When I handed one over, she said I DON'T WANT IT and just scanned the voucher and told me how much I had to pay.

To be honest, I would just get in as many DTD's as possible (but not being a complete skunk bag and using 3 vouchers a day LOL) cos I don't see this offer running for much longer.

I can't see how this would work, the only way is if they had someone pricechecking your trolley at every store,I certainly can't remember or even be bothered to check every item price at Asda, I would do a shop then i would tell them to pick out the things they didn't want me to buy that were cheaper at Asda, then go there and buy them, lol. How long would that take for every person using a voucher.

Just go to a young female or male SA. Trust me, they don't care. From now on, I will ALWAYS go to my fave young blonde SA. I even know what his working patterns are not. LOL. :j:p;):D:rotfl::T

PS. Is it Winter again? I think I will get my coat out for tomorrow.

    Hello all...

Not sure if this has ever been mentioned before but if anyone has got Coinks points building up (you can get them from Richmond, Andrex, Emma's Diary etc..) they have a coupon section of rewards. So for 2 points you can get:
30p off McCains Homefries / Smiles
    £1 of Eisberg wine
    £1.50 Appletiser

    https://www.coinks.com/reward/category/24/42/

Did a very risky DTD shop today - bought the beef joint (but different barcode) and a Tommee Tippee cup (but looks different to what I was expecting). Hmmm - Fingers crossed...

Sounds like a special hug is required all round (not too sure about the 3some one )

    Hello Everyone :hello:

It's been back to work, hitting the ground running today, so just a quick run in and out again.

Given up on the dtd, really couldn't get to grips with it.
    :(

Jeferey, I looove your hugs smilie. I was sooo embarassed when I posted the - what was listed as - 'group hug' to find that it said '3some'. I mean, it looked a bit dodgy anyway but I thought 'well, if it's good enough for Mr Lewis and his wonderfull site, then it's good enough for me' :o but it wasn't really good enough for me (or anyone else for that matter ;)) so, I am going to 'pinch' yours, as it's soooo cute and friendly and loveable and hugable and not in the least bit embarrasing. :)
    Thank you Jeferey.

Lots and lots of (Jeferey's) hugs to everyone 3.gif

Please can someone help me with my MOC barcodes

I am planning on buying 2 packs of nappies tomorrow that will come to £12.98 (£10 in Asda ;)) and I want to pay using vouchers BUT my vouchers come to £13.

    I have got 2 x Pampers vouchers ending 4007 (£4) and 6004 (£6) and 2 x clubcard vouchers for £1.50 off (ending 1509).

If I mix it in with some other shopping will the till just take the £13 off? TIA

Decided to pop into large T's in town for the pedal bin, as they did not have any in Asda....asked if they would take my Coop moc...no probs she said just tell them I said it was OK.. doesn't it make you want to spit feathers, different store having different policies....aarrrghhh!!!( I would have hated throwing away a £5 moc).... used my Finish mocs to make the shop over £30, in fact it was £40 less £15 of mocs.......just checked and Finish is still £5 in Asda so should get £20 back....so my receipt will have 2 x Finish and a £20 pedal bin on it....will that look like an abused shop? I buy a lot of Loyd Grossman Pasta Sauce, bulk buying when it is on promotion...my local T's had it £1.19 so I cleared the shelves of all 15 that were left...but it scanned at the till at 80p....got another 12 at the big T's just now, on the shelf there at £1, but scanned at 80p....think they must be stopping selling it or maybe the jars are changing...still I've got 6 months supply now so very pleased with that...got 2 boxes of reduced( half price Easter stock )chocs and a lovely box of Thorntons Fudge down from £4 to £2, did this shop as a separate shop, didn't want to affect my DTD shopping so used a different credit card....but the best bit came in Sainsburys.....needed some jeans, mainly for wearing for walking round the park when it's muddy and a bit cool and damp....Sainsburys Basics are £4 and not bad at all....went to self servce checkout and put in a £5 note and used my Nectar card...got my change and there must have been another £1 left there by previous customer....so got £2 back and the till gave me 2 x £2 of £20 conditional spends....so a a pair of jeans for free ( when I've used the mocs)and I made £1....that plus the £10 Gift Card from T's has made a nice little bonus for me today.... re the money for my hair, it came to £76.50 and L'Oreal are paying up no probs.....
