Aaaarrghhhh !!! very bad time in my usually very good local T's....handed in my DTd voucher SA had no iead what it was, I told him what to do and he scanned it and till gave message he had to get it authorised...waited for checkout supervisor who then said she could not check it as she had to go on a till, so waited for another checkout supervisor, by this time grumpy old man in queue starts moaning at the top of his voice , everyone looks at me, he really starts ranting and raving...checkout supercisor checks it , it's fine, naturally, then she goes to next till to sign the receipt, keeping this bl****y old man waiting , he starts on me again, I have stand up row with him...then my Coop conditional is refused as it says personalised coupon on it and is internet coupon...man starts again, another row....had 4 tolberlone and 3 mocs, 2 scanned 1 did not...man then getting really stroppy with me, I gave as good as I got, no apologies from staff for keeping him waiting , just me having to defend my right to be served in whatever time it takes......went to Cs and got money for Toblerone moc but def refused Coop conditional internet moc....just rung CS and told internet conditional mocs no longer accepted...waiting for his call back as he is ringing store to tell them cashier can handled DTD mocs , should not have to wait for supervisor as this is what has caused the row in the store and got me very very angry and annoyed.....looks as though will have to use this moc at the Coop but it expires today and cannot be bothered to shop again.....aaarrghhh!!!Was told by CS they are back to sending mocs to Poland and have been told to look for mocs where customer has printed and used 2...ie 2 mocs with same name on....terms on moc say only 1 moc and they want to identify customer using 2 mocs as they are not getting the money for them....

just got call back and he said that 'cos of abuse re people using a DTD vouchers everyday, sometimes twice a day...they want to stop the abuse of DTD's so they are getting them checked in order to identify customers doing it, he said some customers are checking the prices at Asda before shopping and only buying things they know are cheaper and they are trying to stop them as it is abusing the system....SA's cannot take them unless they are checked from now on....sending me £10 gift card as apology....

Wow Bully, that was a bad experience :(
The checking doesn't bode well for dtd'ers.....
I think they've either got to stop dtd or bring in some more rules because of the multi dtd'ers - I've just checked and I've only done 9 this month so within the current rules at the moment.

    Hey Bullshot

Oh went to TV Mr T last night and was told that they are checking that if you use a DTD voucher they will be checking your shopping to make sure non of the new items will be elegible for DTD and that you spend well over the voucher amount, or the voucher will be refused:eek:

I dont personnelly see how they can do that, I just did 2 genuine dtd shops this morning,my lst since op last weds, l didnt have any probs, and they took my £5 co-op moc from bis, think it depends on where you shop.:)

Judging on how long it has taken for even a basic level of training to filter through I wonder how long this will take...
If this is the case they would appear to be running scared of the monster that they have created, sure Asda pr dept could milk the opportunity.
