    Mortgage-free Glee!
Evening all and hi TC. Done my dtd shop and used a £5 coop, a dtd and a free appletiser coupon paid £4. Don't know about you lot but I'd rather spend a few quid more in order to use the coop MOC and get some 'normal' shopping cheaper too (as long as it's same as A's or N/F of course ;) ).
If at first you don't succeed, try, try, try - oh bu99er that just cheat :D

I'm being very polite on Facebook and trying very hard to get answers to all my questions...they are replying everytime I ask a question, I then thank them....some of the posts have been very amusing but they do not rise to the bait and just ignore a lot of them (me you mean? :rotfl:I am just having fun with them) .....if you get your promo stuff back, will you be able to use it to enter again ( don't know but at least I can give it to somebody else to play cos I can't be bothered now)?

dtd already help me save so much money...:D

I have got 3 Tesco Extras near me and they always take the internet Safe Coupons no problem (including the Co-op ones) ;)
evening everyone! Thanks for the info, def an email to the new bod at T's then! Mind you, I did receive my first ever cond spend for Boots yesterday so stood my ground today and got £5 off at T's (along with the usual other lot lol).

I got my easter clubcard vouchers today, my OH had extra vouchers for extra points etc but not me for some reason!!

Finally getting my head round DTD but still seem to be spending more than normal although I do realise I am stocking up on stuff I want so it will pan out in the end.

Has tesco stopped the double the discount if overcharged in store.

I was at the customer service desk swapping some points coupons and noticed all the signs have been removed about if you are overcharged for any reason etc etc. Signs been replaced with ones saying prices comparisons in other stores etc.

    Evening All

Sorry couldn't post properly earlier my new employer has blocked me from replying to MSE so i can read but not reply if i want to post i have to do it from my phone which is not easy.
So i rang the velvet administrators and queried why my prize had been denied when the letter clearly stated i'd played ONE time - was told all prizes up to receipt of the letter were not being sent, i queried the apparent Nov win which they advised they'd sent in Nov and I had not recd, I also asked for documentary evidence that i'd played the number of times they said i had in the letter and asked for a contact name to send my legal papers to as they were withholding my latest prize which was from a day that i'd only played once. They left a message on my voicemail regarding the November win so i rang back and was told that i would be receiving my outstanding wins (3 x £100) and that the cheques would be going out in the next few days. I didn't want to post this earlier as wanted to wait until i'd received my cheque incase it was more incorrrect information from them. They also stated that you can only play once per packet, she then said if i buy a packet today and play tonight and do not win i cannot use that packet again. Whilst it would be interesting to see how they are going to monitor this and how they can prove that the pack/receipt i've sent in has not been used to play before i think its a bad move as they know people have rushed out and bought multiple packets. I have approximate 10 packs left with receipts all bought pretty much the same day - there's no way they're going to honour these now so i may as well not play. And during the first phone call they clearly stated that the facebook page was NOTHING to do with velvet and that they are not associated with it in any way shape or form. I'm still confused but if i get my £300 i'll draw a line under it.
On a brighter note been and looked at a house tonight and think i may have found my little piece of paradise. Its gonna cost a fortune to move as cannot leave here for 2 months (landlord is now selling up so is using me to fill his wallet for 2 months) and new place wants 1 months rent plus £250 cos of the dogs. Will tell you more next week once i've spoken to the agent more and they have spoken to the owner.
