    Hi Hypno!

Just wanted to let you know that I tried your 3 in 1 (or should it have been 4 in 1 out??) out while doing a pace-finding treadmill 5K last night. it sort of works for me but I got into a 3 in 2 out rhythym that felt comfortable and I felt I could have kept running beyond the 5K (even though I had a couple of minutes walking break so thats the way it should be I guess) had it not been for foot pain - see below

I am going to have to break one of the golden rules and get new trainers 2 nights before my 10K run on Sunday!! The ones I got in March are giving me blisters on my insteps. At this point I am guessing even new trainers will be better than painful ones.

Thanks for all your help so far!

Have been at my desk since 7.30......am well and truly "keeping on swimming"!!!

KT, glad you found the rythym for your breathing! And good luck with the new trainers - I had my newbies on for the first time running last night, and thankfully all is well :D

    Hi hypno and everyone

Wanted to say thank you for the advice you posted on here - think it was for KT - on the breathing when running - i'd been trying to do 4 in and 4 out :rotfl: so as soon as i can i will give your advice a try ;) Have somehow injured my knee at the moment - probably just walked into something so will see if there's any bruising over the next day or 2 :o but in the meantime probably best not to put this under pressure with a run. I know - it sounds like excuses but this - along with other things has given me the push i needed to return to something else i used to really enjoy doing - swimming :T although will need to see if i can fit in my cozzie still  and there is no budget for this but the impact on my health, well-being and 'head-space' will be immeasurable :)

Fab news on your team returning to the prem hon - i may see you if you come to my neck of the woods for an away game! You certainly deserve to have a relaxing night tonight after all the hard work you have put in at work these last couple of weeks - am sure your efforts don't go unnoticed though.

Verbatim - positive vibes heading your way for your job application.

If you are up for an away fixture DDFW, then do not hesitate to give us a shout!

I hope the knee mends soon - but you are right, the value on "headspace" is worth so much more than we give credit for!

Almost at the end of my working week......there is a bottle of white chilling in the bar down the road with my name on it.....I can hear it calling quite clearly!!!

    Hi hypno. :hello:

I haven't read your diary but felt I had to post RIGHT NOW (!) after seeing your comment on taxi's diary.

    Debt free - excellent!!

    Divorced? I'm shocked!!

But glad to see that you are very very happy. :T

Excuse my ignorance but what is the other figure in the signature, if you are debt free?
Bank Balance: In the black for the moment.
    Sainsburys Loan: Cleared July 2010
Credit cards: AMEX Airmiles Card: direct debit set to clear balance monthly

The other figure is the mortgage - I am technically a MFW now!

So.....had a superb evening with the girlies - much drink, and laughter, and just general hilarity that only girlies on a Friday night can do......a perfect end to a difficult week.

Too much money spent, but what the heck. I really don't care. I am loving my life and will cut back somewhere else to balance it out.

    Life is soooo good :D:D:D:D
