Its not a case of keeping secrets, it is a case of having an ex husband who, along with members of his family, read this diary from time to time.....I just can't put stuff on here that can cause upset, stress or !!!!!iness.....

.....even if it is fun in the process! so, sorry, other than knowing that I have been "out with a friend" as opposed to being "out with a girlfriend", there will be very few details forthcoming.

    Hope you understand x

Yes, he is nice to me.....and he can certainly give me a run for my money, so is good for me too. Solvent as well, which I am sure you will agree is always a bonus in this life :D Anyway, as I mentioned, few details will be forthcoming, so you will just have to take it from me that the good life is continuing :)

So, anyway, back to today - I have an expected lunch with my running buddy, which will be nice.....we need to decide what we do over the summer as she has a marathon in September. We both fancy heading to a running club once or twice a week, and she trialled one last night, so that will be interesting and hopefully good for us both.

But I can only get as far as lunch, if I produce double my normal workload in the morning - I have got so much to do it is unbelievable, so lunch will be my reward......, otherwise it will be another day of grabbing a bite to eat while at my desk.....will it ever end!!?? I don't know, but it is a good way of being able to prove my worth.

Right, the shower beckons then off to get this workpile tackled! Have a good day x

Great news! Not so great news about double workload this morning. Runchum schedule and your schedule too - does that mean you might be training for a marathon (at least partway) and not actually doing it? Eek!

I am so pleased for you and not really surprised you are a good catch just make sure that you run hard enough but not too hard ;)

Advice required I know you were out of your profession for a while did you ask to return or were you headhunted? although I have read your diaries I have forgotten the details :o

I am asking really if it was the former was it hard to get back and what do you think about getting expert career's advice, cv preparation, interviews technique etc? Anybody else's opinion would be appreciated too. I am still waiting to hear about this job I have applied for and wonder if that is a no whether this should be my next step before putting my CV out to prospective employers? Any opinions would be welcome - sorry for the hijack

lunch done - cafe rouge on clubcard vouchers :money:
Runchum is doing a marathon in September so we will work towards that, then I will work towards mine in April so good all year round effort going on!!

Workload - hmm, ploughing on through, but I have brought the car in today, instead of getting the bus, which indicates that I am preparing myself for a late night here........

DT - I wasn't really looking to come back to this profession - but I caught sight of a job ad in the paper, and before I knew it, I had mentally updated my CV and written my letter of application, and that same day, I had physically done it and hand delivered it. Because there are not very many of us in this area, my reputation was well known (hahaha) by the boss, and therefore the interviews etc were just a formality..... They didn't approach me because they thought I was out of the industry (which I was) but were very glad to get my letter. The rest, they say, is history.....it was meant to be!

So, my situation a bit different to yours, but I just saw something and went for it.....
