    Oh my - what a result indeed......6-0 :D:D:D:D

Have had a superb day - bit of pampering, a superb match, my lovely lovely friends, and the sun shone as well - so lovely to be able to drink OUTSIDE in the sunshine after the match. Simply fantastic.

Got the bus home, saving on the cost of a cab, and have just had a really really good day.

Dinner, then collapsing I think - ready for an early start to Thorpe Park tomorrow! I hope you have all had a good day xxx

OH phoned to say that he too was enjoying a beer outside after the Leeds match - he watched it in a pub in Benidorm! I did point out that as he had a ticket this was the most expensive game that he's been to this season!DS went to the game with a friend so DH's season ticket not wasted though!

Happy Mothers Day to everyone! I hope you are being thoroughly spoiled, and that the usual Sunday activities of cooking Sunday roast, washing, getting school uniforms ready, making sure there is food for packed lunches, shouting at the kids to get the homework done, etc is being done by someone else today. Yeah right - never on a Mothers Day in *this* family as I recall :rotfl:

yup, forget the hype and the marketing that goes on......It doesn't work! No breakfast in bed, flowers, chocolates and pub lunch booked for THIS mother!

    Real life goes on :rotfl:

So......we have dug out our annual passes and are off for a day at Thorpe Park. Hopefully the weather will stay dry, and I am sure we will have a fantastic day regardless. As you all know, I am very happy on the biggest of adrenaline rush rides, so I will take that as my Mothers Day treat too I guess

I love Retail therapy :D But MSE has definitely got to me as I am incapable of buying anything at full price any more :rotfl:

Managed a new Bra & 5 pairs of nickers that should have cost me £93 for £29.99 all in the make I always wear, 2 tops that should have been £45 for £20.98 and not such a bargain, a gorgeous fat face blue cardi down to £37 from £49.95 :D All needed, so I am a very happy bunny
Maty! Thats amazing, how did you manage that? I need a couple of new bras for everyday, plus an allways one for my posh dress.

That sounds a great mother's day for you, Hypno, as you say the adrenalin will be brill :) Believe it or not, the marketing hype is true for at least one mother in the country - mine! Since my brother married again, into a loving family, she doesn't get breakfast in bed, as he's 30 miles away, but she gets flowers and a pub lunch and someone to listen to her. He's a star :)

Looks like beautiful weather again, I'm pleased your weekend is going to be so fab.
